ROUNDUP: Hernandez, Las Vegas blank Eldorado

Monique Hernandez tossed a three-hitter and struck out nine Monday as Las Vegas High’s softball team opened Northeast League play with a 4-0 win at Eldorado.
Briana Guzman was 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI for the Wildcats.
Erica Estrada was 2-for-3 for the Sundevils.
Valley 13, Rancho 3 — At Valley, Lorena Villamar tossed a five-inning two-hitter and went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs to help the Vikings down the Rams.
Zoe Galindo was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for Valley.
Rancho’s Amber Marlette hit a two-run homer.
Canyon Springs 7, Desert Pines 4 — At Canyon Springs, the Pioneers scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to break a 3-3 tie and defeat the Jaguars.
Silverado 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Silverado, Aly Kosinski pitched a four-hitter, walking two and striking out seven, to lift the Skyhawks past the Desert Shields.
Hazel Lowrey was 3-for-3 for Silverado, and Amanda Delgado went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Marist (Ore.) 10, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Nyree White tossed a no-hitter to lift the Spartans past the Diamondbacks.
Kayla Brand went 4-for-5 with a home run.
Foothill 8, Beaverton (Ore.) 2 — At Foothill, Shelbie Medrano was 3-for-4 with five RBIs to help the Falcons top the Beavers.
Foothill’s Miranda Mortel was 3-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored.
Beaverton’s Willow Martinson was 3-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored.
Indian Springs 3-6, Beatty 2-5 — At Indian Springs, Tessa Lounsbury’s leadoff home run in the bottom of the eighth inning of the second game allowed the Thunderbirds to sweep the Hornets.
Brandi Bryl, the winning pitcher in both games, also homered in the nightcap.
Bryl tossed a one-hitter in the opener, and Indian Springs scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull out the win. Jerilyn Frohlich scored the winning run on a groundout.
Beatty’s Danielle Henderson went 3-for-3 in the nightcap.
