ROUNDUP: Huntly scores three, helps Bulldogs clinch Northwest title

Taylor Huntly’s three-run double to center field with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning Thursday helped Centennial’s softball team clinch the Northwest League title with a 5-4 win over visiting Palo Verde.
The Panthers scored twice in the top of the fifth to take a 4-2 lead, but the Bulldogs responded with consecutive one-out singles by Heather Bowen, Savannah Horvath and Alyssa Finger before Huntly laced her blast to center.
Huntly was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and tossed 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to get the win.
Rachel Williams was 2-for-3 with two doubles, and Breanna Beatty ripped a solo home run for Palo Verde.
Bishop Gorman 12, Clark 0 — At Gorman, Dayton Yingling tossed a five-inning no-hitter, walking two and striking out 10 as the Gaels completed a perfect Southwest League season by blanking the Chargers.
Shelby Estocado was 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles and an RBI, and Alexandria Gordon went 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple and four RBIs for Gorman, which got a two-run homer from Miranda Robles.
Desert Oasis 14, Pahrump Valley 4 — At Desert Oasis, Shonda Badayos went 4-for-4 with a triple, and tossed a five-inning three-hitter with six strikeouts to help the Diamondbacks coast to an easy win over the Trojans.
Samantha Caruso was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, and Emily Heinz provided three hits and an RBI for Desert Oasis, which got two hits and an RBI for Mallory Hall.
Durango 10, Bonanza 0 — At Durango, Dallas Boyce tossed a five-inning one-hitter and struck out seven as the Trailblazers shut out the Bengals.
Katie Moore was 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs, and Alyssa Martine went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI for Durango.
Spring Valley 10, Western 4 — At Spring Valley, winning pitcher Ashley Coate went 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Grizzlies past the Warriors.
Lolita Rodriguez went 1-for-1 with an RBI for Western.
Arbor View 15, Mojave 3 — At Arbor View, Karli Lehr was 3-for-3 with a triple and a double, and Kayla Stevens went 3-for-3 as the Aggies blitzed the Rattlers in five innings.
Ashlyn Ames was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, and Adrienne Drewniak went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for Arbor View.
Cimarron-Memorial 10, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Cimarron, Sarina Creswell doubled twice and drove in three runs to help the Spartans top the Crusaders in five innings.
Kayla Johnson doubled and notched two RBIs for Cimarron.
Foothill 11, Tech 1 — At Foothill, Lauren Penksa went 3-for-3 with a double, and Hannah Stevens was 2-for-3 as the Falcons routed the Roadrunners in six innings.
Sabrina Sawyer went 2-for-3 for Tech.
Boulder City 23, Cheyenne 6 — At Cheyenne, Karlee Koopman went 4-for-5 with a double, a grand slam and six RBIs as the Eagles downed the Desert Shields in five innings.
Ali Rants was 3-for-4 for Boulder City, which pounded out 24 hits.
Megan Ingram went 3-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI for Cheyenne.
Pahranagat Valley 21, Lake Mead 6 — At Alamo, Kyla Mortensen was 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and five RBIs to help the Panthers blitz the Eagles in five innings.
Randi Jones was 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs for Pahranagat Valley.
