ROUNDUP: Palo Verde walks off with 11th inning win over Legacy

Lauren Stover hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning Thursday as Palo Verde’s softball team outlasted visiting Legacy, 3-1.
Erika Stratton tripled with one out in the bottom of the 11th before Stover homered to left-center.
Stover, who also doubled, went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the Panthers.
Winning pitcher Missy McCormick tossed a four-hitter with three walks and struck out 17.
Legacy’s Sierra Pico spun a six-hitter with 11 strikeouts.
Silverado 4, Green Valley 3 — At Silverado, Hazel Lowrey’s two-run single in the fifth inning plated Akina Zuccaro and Aly Kosinski with the go-ahead runs as the Skyhawks edged the Gators.
Lowrey’s hit broke a 2-2 tie. Green Valley scored once in the top of the seventh and had the potential tying run on second base when Silverado pitcher Katie Devlin got a come-backer to the circle to end the game.
Mikayla Thielges went 3-for-3 with a run for the Skyhawks.
Alicia Firelein was 1-for-3 with a run for the Gators.
Foothill 12, Del Sol 2 — At Foothill, Rhiana Balaun went 3-for-3 with a home run to lead the Falcons past the Dragons.
Shelbie Medrano was 3-for-4 with two doubles for Foothill, which scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game by the 10-run rule.
Alex Petrolia pitched a three-hitter, striking out four, for the Falcons.
Liberty 12, Tech 2 — At Liberty, Breanna English was 4-for-4 with a triple, a double, three RBIs and three runs for the Patriots in their win over the Roadrunners.
Megan Patras was 2-for-3 with three runs for Liberty. Winning pitcher Francesca Foti allowed one hit in in four innings and fanned five.
Coronado 2, Basic 0 — At Coronado, Morgan Yuhas was 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and a run to lead the Cougars past the Wolves.
Allie Amato scattered seven hits to earn the shutout. Katie Cochran was 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Lacey Romo tossed a four-hitter and struck out six for Basic.
Centennial 9, Arbor View 6 — At Arbor View, Paige Reese went 2-for-5 with two doubles and a run as the Bulldogs scored the final four runs of the game to down the Aggies.
Juelaine Noa was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Kylie Bartlett 2-for-3 for Centennial, which led 4-0 after two innings and trailed 6-5 after four.
Chelsea Venable was 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Arbor View. Teammate Danielle Nolan was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Cheyenne 14, Mojave 0 — At Cheyenne, Lexi Galindo went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and tossed a four-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead the Desert Shields past the Rattlers.
Morgan Masterson went 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Dani Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Cheyenne.
