ROUNDUP: Romo carries Wolves to win over Foothill

Lacey Romo tossed a four-hit shutout and drove in the game’s only run in the sixth inning Wednesday as Basic’s softball team edged visiting Foothill, 1-0.
Romo, who struck out eight, singled to score Brooke Logan from second base with two outs in the sixth inning.
Logan reached with a leadoff single to start the sixth inning, and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Caylie Springer.
Kylie Ishikawa doubled twice for Foothill.
Silverado 5, Liberty 1 — At Silverado, Aly Kosinski tossed a five-hitter, and the Skyhawks scored all of their runs in the fourth inning en route to a win over the Patriots.
Kosinski, who struck out five, also went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Riana Splinter was 2-for-3 with a double for the Skyhawks.
Coronado 2, Tech 1 — At Coronado, Katie Cochran’s RBI single in the fifth inning drove home Kim Dawson with the winning run, and the Cougars held on to nip the Roadrunners.
Dawson was 2-for-3 for Coronado, which got a solo home run from Morgan Yuhas to tie the game in the fifth before Cochran’s hit put the Cougars ahead to stay.
Tech’s Amanda Roark struck out 17. Lauren Lesniak went 2-for-3 for the Roadrunners.
Green Valley 17, Del Sol 2 — At Green Valley, Alicia Firelein went 2-for-2 with a grand slam and five RBIs, and Desiree Laswell went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs to lead the Gators to a five-inning rout of the Dragons.
Ali Bodnar homered, doubled and drove in four runs for Green Valley.
Razia Ali fired a two-hitter with seven strikeouts for the Gators.
Valley 14, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Valley, Nicole Suarez went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBIs as the Vikings beat the Miners in five innings.
Lucelly Arias was 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored for Valley.
Eldorado 10, Chaparral 3 — At Eldorado, Megan Jaramillo went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and three RBIs to help the Sundevils top the Cowboys.
Gabriela Trillo was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs or Eldorado, which put away the game with a four-run sixth inning.
Kendy Reynoso and Chase Marchello each produced two hits for the Cowboys.
Las Vegas 15, Canyon Springs 3 — At Las Vegas, Taylor Price went 3-for-3 with a triple, and Mariel Hundley was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored to help lift the Wildcats to a five-inning rout of the Pioneers.
Erin Berkey doubled twice, scored two runs and added an RBI for Las Vegas.
Kristina Nelson earned the win, scattering four hits and striking out 10 without allowing a walk.
Rancho 13, Desert Pines 3 — At Rancho, Aly Lamboo tossed a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts to help the Rams beat the Jaguars in six innings.
Megan Robbins went 2-for-3 with two doubles and drove in all three runs for Desert Pines, which committed five errors.
Boulder City 2, Henderson International 1 — At Boulder City, winning pitcher Karlee Koopman supplied the game-winning double in the bottom of the eighth, driving in Paxton Fleming to give the Eagles the win over the Wolverines.
Koopman went 2-for-4 and struck out 11 with only one walk. Fleming also had two hits for Boulder City.
Alyssa Ayers went 3-for-4 for Henderson International.
