ROUNDUP: Snyder, Cimarron take down Trailblazers

Alexa Snyder tossed a six-hitter and struck out 13 on Monday to help host Cimarron-Memorial’s softball team to a 3-1 win over Durango.

Sarina Creswell doubled and scored for the Spartans.

Tech 19, Clark 14 —
At Clark, Jordyn Roark went 4-for-5 with a double, and the Roadrunners scored eight runs in the top of the eighth inning and held off the Chargers.

Clark scored twice in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game at 10, and each team scored a run in the seventh.

Valley 10, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At Valley, Kristina Manthei tossed a no-hitter, and the Vikings rallied from a 3-0 deficit to top the Miners.

Manthei struck out 10 and walked three. She also went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.

Bishop Gorman 14, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Dayton Yingling went 2-for-3 with a pair of three-run home runs to lead the Gaels by the Crusaders.

Shelby Estocado finished 3-for-4 with a home run for the Gaels.

Vanessa Valdez went 2-for-4 with a double for the Crusaders.

Legacy 18, Canyon Springs 1 —
At Legacy, the Longhorns scored nine runs in the first inning and took advantage of 20 walks to rout the Pioneers in five innings.

Kiani Elia-Mendiola hit a double for Legacy.

Las Vegas 5, Cheyenne 3 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats scored three runs in the bottom of the first on their way to a win over the Desert Shields.

Sammy Taylor tripled for Las Vegas.
