SOFTBALL: Beaman’s hit gives Arbor View tie in tournament

Taylor Beaman’s two-run single to right-center field with two outs in the bottom of the sixth Thursday gave Arbor View’s softball team a 2-2 tie with Saint Lucy’s (Calif.) in the Savanna Invitational in Anaheim, California.
Breanne Henricksen started the rally with a single, and a walk and an error loaded the bases for Beaman. She tied it up, and the game was called after six because of a tournament time limit.
Sonora (Calif.) 3, Arbor View 1 — At Anaheim, California, Sam Casanas scattered seven hits to lead the Raiders to the six-inning win over the Aggies in the Savanna Invitational.
Lileya Kebos was 2-for-3 for Arbor View.
Clackamas (Ore.) 5, Bishop Gorman 4 — At Anaheim, California, Joey Miller’s two-run homer in the top of the seventh gave the Cavaliers the win over the Gaels in the Savanna Invitational.
Miller’s homer broke a 3-3 tie.
Sierra Dias was 4-for-4 for the Gaels, and teammate Alison Stanfill went 2-for-3 with a double.
Savanna (Calif.) 5, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Anaheim, California, Shyanne Fennell threw a two-hitter with two strikeouts to lead the Rebels over the Gaels in the Savanna Invitational.
