SOFTBALL: Centennial’s Jennifer Cerrone no-hits Legacy

Jennifer Cerrone tossed a five-inning no-hitter Monday to lead Centennial’s softball team to a 14-0 win over visiting Legacy.
Cerrone walked one and struck out 10.
Angel Love was 2-for-3 with two home runs and five RBIs for Centennial. Kiana Tate went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and three runs, and Kara Simpson went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI for the Bulldogs, who also got a 3-for-3 effort from Stephanie Day.
Chaparral 11, Del Sol 4 — At Chaparral, Brittany DeGraff and Losi Brown combined on a no-hitter as the Cowboys topped the Dragons.
Crystal Clark was 2-for-2 with three runs, and Sara Living went 2-for-3 with a run for Chaparral.
Del Sol took advantage of five walks in the first two innings to score its four runs.
Durango 4, Pahrump Valley 3 — At Durango, Stephanie Huff went 2-for-3 with four RBIs as the Trailblazers downed the Trojans.
Trinity Valentine and Alia Armstrong combined on a three-hitter for Durango.
Jordan Egan went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Pahrump.
Arbor View 4, Silverado 1 — At Arbor View, Sarah Bradford, Taylor Thomas and Breanne Henricksen combined on a four-hitter to lead the Aggies by the Skyhawks.
Bryce Henricksen was 2-for-3, and Kayla Stephens added an RBI double for Arbor View.
Madison Sisco was 2-for-3 with a double for Silverado, and Hanna McCall went 2-for-4 with a double for the Skyhawks.
Cimarron-Memorial 18, Las Vegas 12 — At Cimarron, Rheanna Esparza hit a grand slam to lead the Spartans past the Wildcats.
Rebecca Johnson doubled and drove in three runs, and Cierra Davis had three RBIs for Cimarron.
Sabrina Saldate and Daylon Brooks each drove in two runs for Las Vegas.
Coronado 10, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, Sarah Pinkston spun a one-hitter as the Cougars routed the Patriots in six innings.
Basia Query was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Jillian James was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Coronado.
Valley 9, Bonanza 3 — At Bonanza, Kristina Manthei and Kianna Viernes combined on a three-hitter to lead the Vikings by the Bengals.
Jaeda Burnett, Megan Jones and Shannon Williams each had a single and an RBI for Valley.
Ashlee McKenna was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Bonanza.
Moapa Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Overton, Daesha Stastny tossed a three-hitter as the Pirates topped the Miners in six innings.
Kessa Evans, Kyla Shumway, Devony Cooper and Kinlee Marshall each had two RBIs for Moapa Valley.
Andrea Garner went 2-for-3 for Sunrise Mountain.
Desert Oasis 15, Canyon Springs 1 — At Desert Oasis, Jalyn Chao spun a one-hitter to lead the Diamondbacks by the Pioneers in five innings.
Izriah Hodson was 3-for-4 with three runs, and Gemma Perez was 2-for-3 with three runs for Desert Oasis.
Boulder City 20, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Jessica Embro had four doubles, and the Eagles scored 12 runs in the first inning on their way to a five-inning rout of the Jaguars.
Charlene Masterson tossed a two-hitter and had two doubles and a triple for Boulder City.
