SOFTBALL: Estocado, Gaels rout Longhorns

Shelby Estocado was 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs and an RBI on Tuesday to help Bishop Gorman’s softball team to a 10-0, five-inning home win over Legacy.
Megan Coyle was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Ashley Witucki went 2-for-3 with two doubles for the Gaels.
Dayton Yingling struck out seven in four innings and combined with Casey Nelson on a four-hitter for Gorman.
Coronado 5, Liberty 4 — At Coronado, the Cougars scored four runs in the second and built a 5-0 lead before holding off the Patriots.
Basia Query and Jillian James each singled and scored for Coronado.
Kelsey Camat-Toki supplied a triple, a single and an RBI for Liberty, which got two hits each from Angela Adams and Breanna Alvarez.
Foothill 12, Eldorado 3 — At Eldorado, Kelsey McFarland went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple to lead the Falcons over the Sundevils.
Hannah Stevens, Jordan Corn and Daryan Meade each had two hits for Foothill.
Keelyn Pacheco doubled twice, and Madalyn Bonilla had two hits and an RBI for Eldorado.
Cheyenne 12, Mojave 6 — At Mojave, Brittany Leeds went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to help the Desert Shields defeat the Rattlers.
Danette Daguiar had a double and two RBIs for Mojave, which committed 10 errors.
Faith Lutheran 11, Western 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Samantha Jack was 2-for-3 and scored three runs as the Crusaders topped the Warriors in five innings.
Haley Jack tossed a two-hitter and struck out eight for Faith Lutheran, which got a two-run double from Lauryn Lipe.
Centennial 11, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Jennifer Cerrone tossed a five-hitter, striking out eight and walking one, to propel the Bulldogs to a rout of the Spartans.
Savannah Horvath was 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, and Heather Bowen finished 2-for-3 with a double and a solo homer for Centennial, which got three hits from Ashley Ross and two hits from Angel Love.
Basic 23, Del Sol 5 — At Del Sol, Rachel Snyder was 4-for-5 with a double as the Wolves routed the Dragons in five innings.
Alina Marruffo was 2-for-2 for Del Sol.
Pahrump Valley 11, Clark 0 — At Pahrump, Lahela Kaiwi tossed a two-hitter to lead the Trojans over the Chargers in five innings.
Jordan Egan tripled and singled, and Whitney Roderick and Melanie Lawdensky each had two hits for Pahrump.
Desert Oasis 21, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Shonda Badayos fired a two-hitter and struck out eight to help the Diamondbacks defeat the Bengals in five innings.
Elsy Guzman went 3-for-4 with six RBIs, and Raina Ladislao was 3-for-3 with two RBIs for Desert Oasis, which got a home run from Meagan Anders.
Mountain View 19-30, Agassi Prep 9-10 — At Doolittle Park, Savannah Alley went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs in the opener and 3-for-4 with a double and eight RBIs in the nightcap as the Saints won a pair of five-inning games against the Stars.
Elle Germany was 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the first game and 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs in the second game for Mountain View, which allowed a total of five hits in the two games.
Pahranagat Valley 25, Lake Mead 15 — At Alamo, Sidney Harris was 3-for-3 to help the Panthers top the Eagles in five innings.
Alyson Egbert was 2-for-3, and Traci Strong had a double and three RBIs for the Panthers.
