SOFTBALL: Pahrump’s Pryor blanks Boulder City

Amanda Pryor tossed a five-hitter and struck out eight Saturday to lead host Pahrump Valley’s softball team to a 9-0 win over Boulder City.
Pryor also had three hits, and Jordan Egan had a two-run home run and a single for the Trojans, who got two singles from Lauren Koenig.
Jessica Embro had two singles for the Eagles.
Desert Oasis 10, Liberty 2 — At Desert Oasis, Shonda Badayos spun a two-hitter and struck out five as the Diamondbacks topped the Patriots.
Karly Severance was 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs, and Elsy Guzman went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Desert Oasis, which scored five runs in the sixth inning.
Meagan Anders was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Izriah Hodson added a solo home run for the Diamondbacks, who also got two hits apiece from Justine Tadeo-Corpus and Gemma Perez.
Green Valley 14, Las Vegas 4 — At Green Valley, Amber Calderon was 2-for-3 with four RBIs, and Italia Reinoehl was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three runs and two RBIs to lead the Gators by the Wildcats in six innings.
Samantha Loving was 2-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI, and Jinger Meuir went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs for Green Valley, which got a home run and three RBIs from Gennie Simington.
Cheyenne Porcella was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Sabrina Saldate was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Las Vegas.
