SOFTBALL: Stephens leads Aggies by visiting Trailblazers

Kayla Stephens went 3-for-3 with three doubles and two RBIs to lead Arbor View’s softball team to an 8-3 home win over Durango on Monday.

Ke’Anna Kamaka was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs, and Brittany Henricksen drove in two runs for the Aggies, who led 4-0 after the first inning.

Brooke Alves had a double, and teammate Trinity Valentine was 2-for-2 for Durango.

Tech 11, Mojave 5 — At Mojave, Vanessa Villalobos doubled and drove in three runs to lead the Roadrunners past the Rattlers.

Melissa Fuller added two doubles and a RBI for the Roadrunners. Gizele Cascos also doubled for Tech.

Cascos allowed one run over five innings of work to pick up the win.

Emilee Milton doubled and drove in two runs to lead the Rattlers.

Western 21, Desert Pines 4 — At Western, Alexis Maeoki was 4-for-4 with two doubles, two triples and six RBIs as the Warriors downed the Jaguars.

Winning pitcher Lita Maeoki struck out nine in three innings and hit a solo home run, and Nazelin Reyes had four singles for Western, which got two doubles from Mireya Villela.

Maiya Richardson went 2-for-3 with a double for Desert Pines.

Desert Oasis 15, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Elsy Guzman was 4-for-5 with two triples and two RBIs to lead the Diamondbacks over the Longhorns.

Guzman also threw a five-hitter to get the victory. Meagan Anders went 3-for-5 with two triples for Desert Oasis, which scored seven runs in the first inning.

Lindsey Fishman was 2-for-4 with two doubles for Legacy.

Shadow Ridge 11, Bishop Gorman 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Alisha Schultz tossed a three-hitter and was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs to lead the Mustangs by the Gaels in five innings.

Kate Dennis went 2-for-3 with two doubles, Maraya Lindo had a two-run home run and Marisa Miano hit a triple for Shadow Ridge, which also got doubles from Shelbi Denman, Sofia Meza, Samaiya Montgomery and Samantha Milanovich.

Hannah Gondini scored Gorman’s run.
