ROUNDUP: Bembenek helps Lion boys swim past Rattlers

Dominic Bembenek won the 50-meter freestyle in 32.18 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 1:12.97 to help host Adelson School’s boys swimming team to a 95-74 win over Mojave on Tuesday.

Clark 172, Western 70 — At Adelson School, William Wang won the 200 freestyle in 2:19.75 and the 200 individual medley in 2:21.25 as the Chargers topped the Warriors.

Western’s Halim Koljenovic took the 100 freestyle in 1:03.16 and the 100 backstroke in 1:10.72.

Legacy 170, The Meadows 0 — At Adelson School, Nick Tucker, Josh Rockmaker and Kyler Atkinson each won two events in the Longhorns’ victory over the Mustangs.

Tucker won the 200 individual medley in 2:25.25 and the 100 butterfly in 1:07. Rockmaker took the 50 (28.92) and 100 freestyles (1:15.47), and Atkinson claimed the 200 freestyle in 2:43.97 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:40.75.

GIRLS

Adelson School 103, Mojave 62 — At Adelson School, Camryn Armstrong claimed the 100 (1:25.26) and 200 freestyles (3:01.84) as the Lions downed the Rattlers.

Mojave’s Dana Jones won the 50 (38.16) and 500 freestyles (6:51.68).

Clark 172, Western 63 — At Adelson School, Gabrielle Jaehn took the 50 freestyle in 33.0 and the 100 backstroke in 1:20.12 to lead the Chargers by the Warriors.

Western’s Nadira Koljenovic captured the 500 freestyle in 5:28.06 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:28.66.

Legacy 117, The Meadows 49 — At Adelson School, the Longhorns used their depth to overcome the Mustangs.
