ROUNDUP: Bonanza boys swim past Cimarron-Memorial

Bonanza’s boys swimming team won all but two events on Saturday at Desert Breeze en route to a 154-131 win over Cimarron-Memorial.

Timmy Kuskowski and Aaron Bame each won two events to lead the Bengals.

Kuskowski was first in the 50-yard freestyle (23.89 seconds) and 100 freestyle (53.16). Bame won the 200 individual medley (2:24.35) and 100 backstroke (1:04.67).

Alex Lin placed first in the 500 freestyle (5:25.6) and 200 freestyle (2:00.18) for Cimarron.

Palo Verde 164, Arbor View 131 — At Municipal, Paul Van Beuge, Donald Utchel and Michael Branch each won two individual events to lead the Panthers over the Aggies.

Van Beuge was first in the 200 freestyle (2:02.29) and 100 backstroke (1:06.72), Utchel won the 200 individual medley (2:24.06) and 500 freestyle (5:53.19), and Branch took the 100 freestyle (53.44) and 50 freestyle (24.37).

Valley 140, Chaparral 61 — At Multi-Generational, Nicholas Freeman won the 50 freestyle (25.81) and 100 freestyle (1:00.53) to lead the Vikings past the Cowboys.

Valley also swept the relays.

William Alvarado was first in the 200 individual medley (2:49.86) and 100 butterfly (1:11.97) for Chaparral.

Foothill 198, Liberty 83 — At Multi-Generational, Zachary Stone placed first in the 100 freestyle (55.96) and 500 freestyle (5:29.3) to lead the Falcons past the Patriots.

Donald Madson won the 200 individual medley (2:26.45) and 100 backstroke (1:01.23) for Liberty.

Coronado 153, Bishop Gorman 125 — At Multi-Generational, the Cougars won just two events but use their depth to beat the Gaels.

Ryan Shovlin took the 200 individual medley (2:04.31) and 500 freestyle (4:52.29) for Gorman.

Boulder City 194, Moapa Valley 44 — At Multi-Generational, Mike Satterlee, Matt Lara and Dylan Bunch each won two events as the Eagles downed the Pirates.

Satterlee won the 50 freestyle (23.67) and 100 freestyle (53.68), Lara was first in the 200 freestyle (1:56.0) and 100 butterfly (1:01.63), and Bunch took the 500 freestyle (4:56.96) and 100 backstroke (1:01.16).

Silverado 198, Basic 80 — At Multi-Generational, the Skyhawks won every event to beat the Wolves.

Ben Hensel, Jacob Jezek and Matt Stitt each won two events for Silverado.

Hensel was first in the 100 freestyle (52.56) and 100 breaststroke (1:08.34), Jezek took the 100 butterfly (1:01.12) and 100 backstroke (1:00.56), and Stitt placed first in the 500 freestyle (5:59.03) and 200 freestyle (2:11.0).

Shadow Ridge 146, Desert Oasis 99 — At Municipal, Stuart Jacobson won the 200 individual medley (2:08.88) and 100 butterfly (53.94) to lead the Mustangs over the Diamondbacks.

Mojave 30, Cheyenne 30 — At Desert Breeze, the Rattlers and Desert Shields finished in a tie.

Mojave’s Jordon Fisher took two of the three contested events, taking the 100 freestyle (1:05.75) and 100 backstroke (1:20.78).

Del Sol 158, The Meadows 23 — At Desert Breeze, Carl Easton and Preston Fidler each won two events as the Dragons defeated the Mustangs.

Easton won the 200 individual medley (2:32.42) and 100 butterfly (1:07.79), and Fidler was first in the 50 freestyle (26.92) and 100 freestyle (1:03.31).

Clark 125, Sierra Vista 72 — At Desert Breeze, the Chargers won both contested relays on the way to the win.

Emile Maritz won the 200 individual medley (2:11.41) and 100 backstroke (59.94) for Sierra Vista.

Rancho 155, Las Vegas 105 — At Desert Breeze, J.R. Deem won the 50 freestyle (22.78) and 100 breaststroke (1:06.62), and the Rams won two of three relays to defeat the Wildcats.

Caleb Cline was first in the 100 butterfly (1:06.31) and 500 freestyle (6:20.6) for Las Vegas.

Legacy 126, Western 76 — At Desert Breeze, Sam Smedley and Taylor Webb each won two events to lead the Longhorns past the Warriors.

Smedley won the 50 freestyle (25.0) and 100 freestyle (55.44). Webb won the 200 freestyle (2:13.15) and 100 breaststroke (1:19.97).

Centennial 155½, Faith Lutheran 88½ — At Municipal, the Bulldogs won two of three relays to beat the Crusaders.

Faith Lutheran’s Don Pearson won the 200 individual medley (2:14.09) and 100 freestyle (50.51). Ian Saltivierra was first in the 100 butterfly (55.12) and 100 breaststroke (1:05.39) for the Crusaders.

Eldorado 121, Desert Pines 110 — At Municipal, Antony Owens was first in the 200 individual medley (2:36.89) and 100 freestyle (58.91) to lead the Sundevils past the Jaguars.

Durango 156½, Spring Valley 43½ — At Municipal, Michael Torres and Rob Eisendrath each won two events to lead the Trailblazers over the Grizzlies.

Torres was first in the 200 individual medley (2:05.39) and 100 breaststroke (1:04.58). Eisendrath won the 50 freestyle (23.8) and 100 backstroke (1:00.0).

Jesse Dwyer took the 200 freestyle (1:53.69) and 500 freestyle (5:06.78) for Spring Valley.

Canyon Springs 113, Virgin Valley 64 — At Municipal, Bobby Cotton won the 100 butterfly (1:06.62) and 100 backstroke (1:09.27) to lead the Pioneers over the Bulldogs.
