ROUNDUP: Chir, Morehead lead Coronado boys by Basic

Jake Chir and Nick Morehead each won two individual events Tuesday at Municipal to propel Coronado’s boys swimming team to a 192-90 win over Basic.
Chir won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 49.84 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 55.02.
Morehead took the 200 individual medley in 2:08.12 and the 100 freestyle in 49.82.
Team scores for all meets will not be final until the diving competition is held Friday.
Foothill 223, Del Sol 27 — At Municipal, Daniel Vaughn won the 100 butterfly in 57.28 and the 500 freestyle (5:17.53) to push the Falcons past the Dragons.
Foothill’s Jacob Ozuna won the 200 individual medley (2:15.81) and the 100 backstroke (59.16).
Eldorado 120, Liberty 113 — At Municipal, Kenneth Kuhn won the 200 individual medley (2:15.94) and the 100 breaststroke (1:12.5) as the Sundevils edged the Patriots.
Liberty’s Austin Mansfield grabbed first in the 100 butterfly (1:22.79) and the 500 freestyle (8:01.81).
Boulder City 210, Chaparral 48 — At Heritage, Joey Gebhart, Jeremy Estes and Jared Smith each won two individual events to lift the Eagles past the Cowboys.
Gebhart won the 100 freestyle (48.88) and 100 backstroke (56.42), Estes took the 50 freestyle (21.88) and 100 butterfly (52.37), and Smith touched in 1:47.8 in the 200 free and 4:49.72 in the 500 free.
Las Vegas 181, Rancho 102 — At Heritage, Sam Blackburn won the 100 freestyle in 56.84 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.67 to help the Wildcats top the Rams.
Joseph Guthro and Nicholas Young each won two events for Rancho. Guthro captured the 200 free (1:51.73) and came right back to take the 200 individual medley (2:07.84). Young touched first in the 100 butterfly in 1:04.37 and the 500 free in 5:41.76.
Silverado 158, Valley 121 — At Heritage, Tyler Worley won the 200 individual medley in 2:15.68 and the 100 backstroke in 1:01.03 as the Skyhawks beat the Vikings.
Valley’s Joshua Moore was also a double-winner, taking the 200 freestyle (2:05.65) and the 100 butterfly (1:01.89).
Bishop Gorman 193, Bonanza 46 — At Pavilion, Tristan Bunker and Zack Boudreaux each won two individual events to help the Gaels beat the Bengals.
Bunker won the 200 freestyle (1:51.07) and 50 freestyle (23.65), and Boudreaux was first in the 100 backstroke (1:05.24) and 200 individual medley (2:21.32).
Centennial 165, Desert Oasis 84 — At Pavilion, Jeff Lippitt won the 100 backstroke (1:06.96) and 200 individual medley (2:21.8) to lead the Bulldogs past the Diamondbacks.
Desert Oasis’ Napaul Cavazos won the 200 freestyle (2:18.43) and 100 freestyle (1:00.71), and teammate Kyle Silveroli won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.01) and 100 butterfly (1:04.01).
Legacy 166, Cimarron-Memorial 109 — At Pavilion, Patrick Beaty won the 500 freestyle (5:20.47) and 200 individual medley (2:17.57) to lead the Longhorns over the Spartans.
Cimarron’s Noah Bachir took the 100 breaststroke (1:15.94) and 100 butterfly (1:16.08)
Palo Verde 203, Sierra Vista 47 — A Pavilion, Luke Trafton and Adam Henley each won twice as the Panthers topped the Mountain Lions.
Trafton was first in the 200 individual medley (2:09.75) and 100 freestyle (51.02), and Henley won the 200 freestyle (1:50.5) and 100 backstroke (59.37).
