ROUNDUP: Desert Oasis boys coast past Del Sol

Evan Hasberry won the 200 freestyle in 2 minutes, 11.69 seconds and the 500 freestyle in 6:08.34 to lead Desert Oasis’ boys swimming team to a 157-93 victory over Del Sol on Saturday at Multi-Generational.
Cabe St. John took the 100 freestyle in 58.06 and the 200 individual medley in 2:35.03 for Del Sol.
Bonanza 177½, Liberty 97½ — At Multi-Generational, Sam Wieser took the 200 individual medley in 2:02.54 and the 500 freestyle in 4:57.13 in the Bengals’ victory over the Patriots.
Silverado 166, Spring Valley 108 — At Multi-Generational, the Skyhawks won only four events but used their depth to overcome the Grizzlies.
Spring Valley’s Dylan Wolf won the 50 (22.94) and 500 freestyles (4:39.14). Jesse Dwyer took the 200 individual medley (2:10.33) and 200 freestyle (1:54.90), and teammate Brett Beck captured the 100 backstroke (55.06) and 100 butterfly (55.11) for the Grizzlies.
 
Boulder City 219, Canyon Springs 46 — At Heritage, Gunner Braden and Zane Grothe each took two individual events as the Eagles routed the Pioneers.
Braden won the 100 (49.98) and 200 freestyles (1:54.90). Grothe captured the 500 freestyle (5:16.51) and 200 individual medley (1:59.48).
Eldorado 154, Valley 79 — At Heritage, the Sundevils swept the relay events and had five swimmers each win one individual event on their way to victory over the Vikings.
 
Nick Freeman won the 200 freestyle in 2:17.98 and the 100 butterfly in 1:06.60 for Valley.
Basic 173, Las Vegas 93 — At Heritage, Travis Taitano swept the sprint freestyles, winning the 50 in 24.12 and the 100 in 52.67, to lead the Wolves past the Wildcats.
Paulo Almeida claimed the 200 (2:16.64) and 500 freestyles (6:28.25), and teammate Caleb Cline won the 100 butterfly (1:03.36) and 200 individual medley (2:24.07) for Las Vegas.
Palo Verde 214, Faith Lutheran 83 — At Desert Breeze, Jeff Ward, Adam Henley and Gianni Sesto each took two individual events as the Panthers rolled past the Crusaders.
Ward won the 50 (24.01) and 100 freestyles (52.22). Sesto captured the 100 butterfly (55.01) and 500 freestyle (4:59.37). Henley claimed the 100 breaststroke (1:11.18) and 200 individual medley (2:11.12).
Arbor View 249, Chaparral 12 — At Desert Breeze, Brian Martinez and Joseph Behringer each collected two wins in the Aggies’ rout of the Cowboys.
Martinez took the 50 (22.12) and 100 freestyles (47.46). Behringer claimed the 200 individual medley (2:20.65) and 100 butterfly (59.37).
Durango 183, The Meadows 9 — At Desert Breeze, Andrew Leslie, Andrew Ward and Rob Eisendrath combined for six individual wins as the Trailblazers swept the 11 competed events and blitzed the Mustangs.
Leslie took the 50 (23.71) and 100 freestyles (52.59). Ward won the 100 breaststroke (1:09.83) and the 200 individual medley (2:19.58), and Eisendrath captured the 100 butterfly (58.58) and 200 freestyle (1:52.86).
Western 78, Mojave 30 — At Desert Breeze, Raudel Guzman and Ben Hesse each had two of the Warriors’ eight event victories in Western’s win over the Rattlers.
Guzman claimed the 100 freestyle in 1:04.16 and the 100 butterfly in 1:13.60. Hesse took the 200 individual medley in 2:38.93 and the 100 backstroke in 1:22.54.
Coronado 171, Bishop Gorman 121 — At Multi-Generational, Jacob Luna and Evan Byrd each captured two individual events to lift the Cougars past the Gaels.
Luna took the 100 butterfly (53.46) and 100 backstroke (56.26). Byrd claimed the 200 (1:51.95) and 500 freestyles (4:53.27).
Moapa Valley 108, Desert Pines 83 — At Multi-Generational, four Pirates won individual events as Moapa Valley topped the Jaguars.
Daniel Barahona won the 50 (26.22) and 500 freestyles (6:53.66) for Desert Pines.
Legacy 158, Cheyenne 80 — At UNLV, Taylor Webb won the 100 freestyle in 56.67 and the 100 backstroke in 1:04.78 to lead the Longhorns past the Desert Shields.
Shadow Ridge 209, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At UNLV, Brent Buff, Wyatt DuVall and Stuart Jacobson each won two events as the Mustangs powered past Sunrise Mountain.
Buff captured the 50 freestyle (27.57) and 200 individual medley (2:41.20). DuVall won the 100 breaststroke (1:02.98) and 500 freestyle (4:48.89), and Jacobson claimed the 100 (51.62) and 200 freestyles (1:51.87).
Sierra Vista 146, Virgin Valley 61 — At UNLV, the quartet of Anton Novikov, Hristo Mirchev, Emile Maritz and Tyler Gottschalk combined to win all eight individual swimming events and lift the Mountain Lions past the Bulldogs.
Novikov won the 50 (25.37) and 500 freestyles (5:45.85). Mirchev took the 100 backstroke (1:05.17) and 200 freestyle (2:07.09).
Maritz claimed the 100 freestyle (54.65) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.91). Gottschalk captured the 100 butterfly (1:26.07) and 200 individual medley (2:41.20).
Clark 126, Rancho 116 — At UNLV, Billy Wang’s wins in the 50 freestyle (24.09) and 100 butterfly (1:02.13) helped the Chargers hold off the Rams.
Estuardo Flores took the 100 backstroke (1:10.92) and 500 freestyle (6:07.15) for Rancho.
