Mary Giza won two events on Thursday to lead Centennial’s girls swim team to a 164-95 win over Legacy at Adelson School.
Giza was first in the 100-meter freestyle (1 minute, 8.55 seconds) and the 200 freestyle (2:26.18).
Western 62, Adelson School 46 — At Adelson School, Brittany Koozmitch won the 100 butterfly (1:38.38) and 100 backstroke (1:38.7) to lead the Warriors past the Lions.
Adelson’s Hillary Fuller finished first in the 200 freestyle (3:19.14) and 100 freestyle (1:28.73).
BOYS
Adelson School 110, Western 69 — At Adelson School, Eli Gabay took the 200 freestyle (2:53.38) and 100 frestyle (1:11.97), and Stuart
Green was first in the 100 butterfly (1:21.73) and 100 backstroke (1:22.94) as the Lions powered past the Warriors.
Centennial 147, Legacy 96 — At Adelson School, Logan Pankhurst, Trevor Pollom and Thomas Farrell won two events apiece to help the Bulldogs swamp the Longhorns.
Pankhurst claimed the 100 freestyle (1:06.69) and 100 backstroke (1:15.43), Farrell was first in the 200 individual medley (2:43.15) and 100 butterfly (1:13.44), and Pollom took the 200 freestyle (2:24.65) and 50 freestyle (27.44).
