ROUNDUP: Three-way attack helps Cheyenne boys rout Mojave

Kyle Anderson, Bryce Cole and Dylan Phillips won two events apiece Thursday to lead Cheyenne’s boys swimming team to a 107-24 rout of Mojave at Adelson School.

 

Anderson took the 500-yard free (7 minutes, 34.28 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:31.51). Cole won the 50 free (28.03) and 100 fly (1:31.78), and Phillips took the 200 free (2:20) and 200 individual medley (4:15.5).

 

Adelson 116, The Meadows 23 — At Adelson School, Stuart Green won a pair of events to help the Lions cruise past the Mustangs.

 

Green took the 50 free (29.74) and 100 backstroke (1:20.03).

 

The Meadows 74, Adelson School 52 — At Adelson School, Jessie Barra, Eliana Crawford and Olivia Jones each won two events to send the Mustangs past the Lions.

 

Barra took the 100 fly (1:06) and 100 free (1:02.87). Crawford won the 200 IM (2:35.34) and 100 breaststroke (1:20.75), and Jones took the 200 free (3:14.03) and 100 backstroke (1:41.44).

Cheyenne 80, Mojave 52 — At Adelson School, the Desert Shiels won four events en route to the victory.
