ROUNDUP: Trio lifts Spring Valley boys past Durango, Clark

Brett Beck, Nicholas Cabalo and Dylan Wolf each won two individual events Saturday to help Spring Valley’s boys swimming team to a pair of victories at Pavilion.
The Grizzlies were 160-78 winners over Durango and earned a 150½-131½ victory over Clark.
Beck won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.56 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.22.
Cabalo captured the 200 individual medley in 2:15.65 and the 100 backstroke in 1:03.69, and Wolf took the 100 butterfly in 55.41 and the 200 freestyle in 1:52.16.
Desert Oasis 131, Western 78 — At Pavilion, Andrei Ruckman and Kyle Silveroli each won twice to help the Diamondbacks top the Warriors.
Ruckman claimed the 100 (1:01.59) and 200 freestyles (2:29.92), and Silveroli captured the 50 (26.94) and 500 freestyles (6:18.49).
Western’s Halim Koljenovic won the 100 butterfly in 1:00.25 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.98.
Canyon Springs 136, Chaparral 58 — At Pavilion, Austin Burgueno, Lansen DeCosta and Isiah Magsino took two events apiece as the Pioneers downed the Cowboys.
Burgueno won the 200 individual medley in 2:30.53 and the 100 butterfly in 1:05.05. DeCosta took the 100 (1:01.82) and 500 freestyles (7:06.16), and Magsino claimed the 200 freestyle in 1:53.39 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.46.
Centennial 190, Mojave 44 — At Pavilion, Billy Gravely, Thomas Farrell and Jeff Lippitt each took two events to help the Bulldogs top the Rattlers.
Gravely won the 200 freestyle in 1:55.86 and the 100 backstroke in 1:01.94. Farrell won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.18 and the 500 freestyle in 6:19.75, and Lippitt claimed the 100 freestyle in 54.84 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:07.34.
Shadow Ridge 212, The Meadows 0 — At Pavilion, Jesse Bergner and Brent Buff each won two individual events as Shadow Ridge posted a shutout victory.
Bergner took the 50 (25.81) and 200 freestyles (2:14.65). Buff claimed the 100 backstroke in 1:02.13 and the 100 butterfly in 58.87.
Sierra Vista 108, Bonanza 62 — At Pavilion, Tyler Gottschalk, Bailey D’Alessio and Paris Goodwin claimed two wins apiece as the Mountain Lions rolled past the Bengals.
Gottschalk captured the 200 freestyle in 2:20.97 and the 100 backstroke in 1:12.19. D’Alessio won the 200 individual medley in 2:50.03 and the 500 freestyle in 7:00.85, and Goodwin took the 50 freestyle in 25.55 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.44.
Legacy earns sweep — At Pavilion, Nick Tucker took the 50 (22.84) and 500 freestyles (5:00.1) to lead the Longhorns to pair of victories.
Legacy was a 156-93 winner over Cheyenne and a 142-127 victor against Cimarron-Memorial.
Cheyenne’s Dylan Thompson won the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.63 and the 100 freestyle in 54.29.
Cimarron’ Noah Bachir claimed the 200 individual medley in 2:21.03 and the 100 backstroke in 1:04.97.
Basic 188, Liberty 77 — At Multi-Generational, Liam Wetzel and Jessie Baughman each won twice as the Wolves downed the Patriots.
Wetzel won the 100 butterfly in 58.99 and the 500 freestyle in 5:09.48. Baughman took the 50 freestyle in 24.69 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.44.
Eldorado 158, Desert Pines 95 — At Multi-Generational, Montana Coombs, Dominik Fiebig and Troy Sirat won two events apiece to help the Sundevils top the Jaguars.
Coombs won the 200 (2:21.03) and 500 freestyles (6:51.97). Fiebig took the 100 backstroke in 1:09.03 and the 100 freestyle in 58.63, and Sirat claimed the 50 freestyle in 26.22 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.22.
Foothill 239, Del Sol 27 — At Multi-Generational, Karl Martinez and Jacob Ozuna claimed two events apiece in the Falcons’ rout of the Dragons.
Martinez took the 50 freestyle in 24.86 and the 200 individual medley in 2:26.79. Ozuna captured the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.13 and the 200 freestyle in 2:04.35.
