Jessie Barra, Olivia Jones and Eliana Crawford each won two events on Thursday to lead The Meadows’ girls swim team to a 92-46 victory over host Adelson School.
Barra placed first in the 100-meter butterfly (1 minute, 8.28 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:32.9). Jones won the 50 freestyle (36.01 seconds) and 400 freestyle (6:24.07), and Crawford claimed the 200 freestyle (2:19.03) and 100 breaststroke (1:17.11).
Adelson School 54, Cheyenne 25 — At Adelson School, the Lions won three events to top the Desert Shields.
Cheyenne’s Taylor DiNicola was first in the 400 freestyle (6:54.9) and 100 backstroke (1:36.52).
Legacy 132, Mojave 30 — At Adelson School, the Longhorns won every contested event to cruise past the Rattlers.
Legacy’s Whitney Adair won the 50 freestyle (35.83) and 100 backstroke (1:36.7), and teammate Lise Arneson was first in the 200 individual medley (3:32.73) and 100 breaststroke (1:42.08).
BOYS
Cheyenne 130, Adelson School 57 — At Adelson School, Morgan Thompson, Dylan Thompson and Kyle Anderson each won two events to help the Desert Shields to the victory.
Morgan Thompson won the 100 butterfly (1:23.69) and 200 freestyle (2:45.0-6), Dylan Thompson was first in the 100 freestyle (1:06.22) and 100 breaststroke (1:24.6), and Anderson won the 400 freestyle (6:05.42) and 100 backstroke (1:26.7).
Legacy 198, Mojave 6 — At Adelson School, Christopher Conte, Taylor Webb and Nicholas Tucker each won two events as the Longhorns routed the Rattlers.
Conte took the 200 freestyle (2:44.79) and 50 freestyle (30.18), Webb won the 100 freestyle (1:07.2) and 100 backstroke (1:17.38), and Tucker was first in the 400 freestyle (4:33.28) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.9).
