Roundup: Adelson races past Cimarron-Memorial

Vanessa Voltz finished first in the 100-yard butterfly and second in the 200 freestyle to help the Adelson School’s girls swim team to a 115-96 dual victory over Cimarron-Memorial at Pavilion on Tuesday afternoon.

Voltz won the 100 butterfly in 1:22.67, and finished the freestyle in 2:21.72.

Leemor Aizenberg also won the 100 freestyle for Adelson in 1:02.06.

Megan Rankin of Cimarron won the 50 freestyle in 30.66 seconds.

Centennial 183, Faith Lutheran 102 — At Pavilion, Leeza Matrix won the 50 freestyle in 27.76 and placed second in the 100 freestyle to help the Bulldogs defeat the Crusaders.

Tanna Cripps won the 500 freestyle in 6:53.31 and was second in the 100 breaststroke.

Savannah Peterson won the 100 breaststroke for Centennial in 1:23.89.

Faith Lutheran’s Sophia Rubino won the 200 individual medley in 2:29.42 and the 100 freestyle in 1:01.22.

Arbor View 204, Mojave 61 — At Pavilion, Megan Snow won the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.16 and the 200 freestyle in 2:25.28 as the Aggies beat the Rattlers.

Alyssa Domingo won the 100 backstroke in 1:10.28 and was second in the 100 butterfly for Arbor View. Alana Domingo won the 100 butterfly in 1:16.48 and placed second in the 200 indvidual medley for the Aggies.

Bonanza 86, Cheyenne 43 — At Pavilion, Emily Logan won the 100 backstroke in 1:40.18 and the 50 freestyle in 33.76 to power the Bengals over Cheyenne..

Destiny Bradford won the 100 freestyle in 1:16.82 for Bonanza, and the Bengals’ relay teams won the 200 medley and 200 freestyle.

Clark 178, Durango 98 — At Pavilion, Samantha Difulvio won the 200 freestyle in 2:10.06 and the 500 freestyle in 5:51.42 to guide the Chargers past the Trail Blazers.

Madeline Young won the 100 backstroke for the Chargers in 1:05.58.

Jan Stephani De Leon won the 100 butterfly for Durango in 1:14.22.
