ROUNDUP: Armstrong helps Adelson girls swim by Cheyenne

Camryn Armstrong won two events on Thursday to lead Adelson School to a 102-81 girls swimming victory over visiting Cheyenne.

Armstrong won the 50-meter freestyle in 32.59 seconds, and took the 100 freestyle in 1 minute, 19.31 seconds.

Cheyenne’s Destinee Larosee won the 400 freestyle (5:34.13) and 100 backstroke (1:24.6).

Clark 200, Western 54 — At Adelson School, Kimberly Sassler took the 200 freestyle (2:40.6) and 100 freestyle (1:13.88) to lead the Chargers over the Warriors.

Western’s Nadira Koljenovic won the 100 butterfly (1:19.22) and 100 breaststroke (1:28.38).

BOYS

Cheyenne 146, Adelson School 56 — At Adelson School, Morgan Thompson and Cory Harris each won two individual events to power the Desert Shields over the Lions.

Thompson won the 100 butterfly (1:08.79) and 400 freestyle (4:39.62). Harris was first in the 200 freestyle (2:37.92) and 100 backstroke (1:19.21).

Clark 185, Western 66 — At Adelson School, Cameron Both was first in the 200 individual medley (3:04.63) and 100 breaststroke (1:25.49) to lead the Chargers past the Warriors.

Western’s Halim Koljenovic won the 100 butterfly (1:03.68) and 100 backstroke (1:06.78).
