ROUNDUP: Boulder City tops Silverado in girls swimming

Megan Purdy collected a pair of individual wins Saturday at Heritage to help Boulder City’s girls swimming team to a 170½-121½ win over Silverado.

Purdy took the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 11.88 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 1:00.95.

Mallory Harris claimed the 200 (2:03.91) and 500 freestyles (5:34.73) for Silverado.

Coronado 215, Durango 84 — At Heritage, Samantha Harrison, Alix Mertel and Nicole Mertel each won two individual events as the Cougars swam past the Trailblazers.

Harrison won the 200 (1:58.65) and 500 freestyles (5:07.34). Alix Mertel took the 100 backstroke (1:01.42) and 200 individual medley (2:16.29), and Nicole Mertel claimed the 50 freestyle (25.87) and 100 butterfly (1:04.36).

Las Vegas 175, Valley 79 — At Heritage, Tiffany Samia and Becky Hill had two wins apiece, and the Wildcats captured all but one of the 11 contested events in a victory over the Vikings.

Samia claimed the 50 (28.37) and 100 freestyles (1:04.72). Hill took the 100 breaststroke (1:20.38) and 200 individual medley (2:38.27).

Desert Oasis 155, Clark 130 — At Municipal, Allison Reiplinger and Mikaela Marquez were double-event winners for the Diamondbacks in their victory over the Chargers.

Reiplinger took the 50 freestyle (27.92) and 100 backstroke (1:07.82), and Marquez captured the 100 butterfly (1:12.13) and 200 freestyle (2:15.45).

Spring Valley 165, Legacy 88 — At Municipal, Annie Lippitt and Jessica Wolf each won two events to propel the Grizzlies past the Longhorns.

Lippitt took the 100 breaststroke (1:22.82) and 200 freestyle (2:27.87), and Wolf captured the 200 individual medley (3:05.08) and 500 freestyle (7:07.27).

Shannon Laidlaw won the 50 freestyle (28.41) and 100 backstroke (1:12.13) for Legacy.

Bonanza 158, Sierra Vista 131 — At Municipal, the Bengals won only two of the 12 events but used their depth to overcome the Mountain Lions.

Kacey Smith, Mackenzie Blair and Nicole Phillips each captured two events for Sierra Vista.

Smith won the 200 individual medley (2:22.34) and the 100 freestyle (1:00.27). Blair took the 50 (28.49) and 500 freestyles (6:29.87), and Phillips claimed the 100 backstroke (1:10.24) and the 100 breaststroke (1:19.46).

Rancho 123, Desert Pines 43 — At Municipal, Xiomara Barahona and Clarissa Harris posted two wins apiece for the Rams in their victory over over the Jaguars.

Barahona took the 100 backstroke (1:30.13) and the 100 freestyle (1:13.23), and Harris claimed the 200 freestyle (2:47.18) and the 200 individual medley (3:09.48).

Del Sol 88, Basic 79 — At Multi-Generational, Ruth Workman and Alexis Todd each collected a pair of individual wins to help the Dragons edge the Wolves.

Workman took the 100 butterfly in 1:26.81 and the 100 backstroke in 1:20.28. Todd claimed the 50 (29.85) and 100 freestyles (1:09.61).

Liberty 68, Canyon Springs 39 — At Multi-Generational, Jasmin Guo won the 200 individual medley (2:43:10) and the 100 breaststroke (1:16.35) to help the Patriots top the Pioneers.

Centennial 162, Shadow Ridge 138 — At Desert Breeze, Rachelle Vieira and Natalie Lipkowitz each posted two victories as the Bulldogs turned back the Mustangs.

Vieira won the 50 freestyle (29.01) and 100 backstroke (1:12.05), and Lipkowitz captured the 200 (2:09.66) and 500 freestyles (5:46.05).

Cheyenne 87, Western 76 — At Desert Breeze, Taylor DiNicola and Nadira Koljenovic each won twice as the Desert Shields slipped past the Warriors.

DiNicola won the 50 freestyle (35.19) and 100 backstroke (1:36.15), and Koljenovic took the 100 breaststroke (1:18.99) and 100 butterfly (1:12.81).

Faith Lutheran 144, Cimarron-Memorial 142 — At Desert Breeze, the Crusaders captured two of the three relays to nose out the Spartans.

Amanda Guerrero won the 100 backstroke (1:03.38) and 100 breaststroke (1:09.44) for Cimarron.

Mojave 69, The Meadows 69 — At Desert Breeze, Jessie Barra and Eliana Crawford each took two events and helped the Mustangs earn a tie with Mojave.

Barra won the 50 (26.19) and 500 freestyles (5:10.84), and Crawford captured the 100 butterfly (1:04.90) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.40).
