ROUNDUP: Coronado tops Bishop Gorman in girls swimming

Tatum Gormley and Samantha Harrison each won two events on Saturday at Multi-Generational to lead Coronado’s girls swim team to a 187-92 win over Bishop Gorman.

Gormley won the 100-yard butterfly (1 minute, 1.09 seconds) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.1). Harrison was first in the 200 freestyle (2:01.49) and 100 backstroke (1:04.65).

Stephanie Jablon won the 200 individual medley (2:18.31) and 100 freestyle (59.09) for the Gaels.

Palo Verde 168, Arbor View 125 — At Municipal, the Panthers won all but on event to defeat the Aggies.

Kim Coombs, Kelly Chism and Kylie Sesto each won two events for Palo Verde. Coombs placed first in the 200 freestyle (2:04.28) and 100 backstroke (1:05.88), Chism won the 200 individual medley (2:24.27) and 500 freestyle (5:44.85), and Sesto took the 50 freestyle (26.69) and 100 freestyle (59.08).

Valley 122, Chaparral 86 — At Multi-Generational, the Vikings won two of three relays to defeat the Cowboys.

Andrea Garcia won the 100 freestyle (1:03.03) and 200 individual medley (2:42.41), and Chaparral teammate Kelley Terry placed first in the 100 butterfly (1:25.36) and 100 backstroke (1:27.14).

Foothill 196, Liberty 90 — At Multi-Generational, Courtney and Caytie Maddock each won two events to lead the Falcons over the Patriots.

Courtney Maddock was first in the 200 individual medley (2:15.89) and 500 freestyle (5:22.66), and Caytie Maddock won the 50 freestyle (25.95) and 100 freestyle (55.62).

Boulder City 173, Moapa Valley 38 — At Multi-Generational, the Eagles won all but one event to beat the Pirates.

Kelsey Thompson won the 200 freestyle (2:06.85) and 100 butterfly (1:06.22), and Boulder City teammate Julia Jeppsen won the 50 freestyle (27.57) and 100 freestyle (1:02.03).

Silverado 134, Basic 126 — At Multi Generational, Jessica Groover and Mallory Harris each won two events as the Skyhawks edged the Wolves.

Groover won the 200 freestyle (2:15.84) and 100 butterfly (1:12.0), and Harris was first in the 500 freestyle (5:19.41) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.12).

Shadow Ridge 170, Desert Oasis 110 — At Municipal, Sarah Miller won the 200 individual medley (2:22.19) and 100 freestyle (1:01.19) to lead the Mustangs over the Diamondbacks.

Bonanza 202, Cimarron-Memorial 75 — At Desert Breeze, Erin Grady and Heidi Kratz each won two events to lead the Bengals over the Spartans.

Grady won the 200 freestyle (2:41.64) and 100 freestyle (1:08.84). Kratz was first in the 50 freestyle (30.09) and 500 freestyle (6:58.14).

Cheyenne 59, Mojave 52 — At Desert Breeze, Elle Ford placed first in the 50 freestyle (30.96) and 100 freestyle (1:15.79) to lead the Desert Shields over the Rattlers.

Shelby Britschgi won the 200 freestyle (2:53.68) and 100 backstroke (1:49.29), and Mojave teammate Cassia Reed placed first in the 200 individual medley (3:04.81) and 100 breaststroke (1:37.18).

Del Sol 168, The Meadows 34 — At Desert Breeze, Tatiana Eastin won the 200 freestyle (2:21.27) and 500 freestyle (6:21.72) to lead the Dragons over the Mustangs.

Jessie Barra placed first in the 200 individual medley (2:16.14) and 100 butterfly (1:01.73) for The Meadows.

Sierra Vista 189, Clark 93 — At Desert Breeze, the Mountain Lions won all but one event, including all three relays, to beat the Chargers.

Alexandra Viray won the 100 butterfly (1:09.53) and 500 freestyle (6:40.97) for Sierra Vista.

Las Vegas 172, Rancho 119 — At Desert Breeze, Lea Thomas and Rebecca Hill each won two events to lead the Wildcats over the Rams.

Thomas won the 200 freestyle (2:19.87) and 100 butterfly (1:07.22), and Hill took the 200 individual medley (2:41.25) and 100 breaststroke (1:20.44).

Lynette Molitor was first in the 100 freestyle (1:02.56) and 500 freestyle (6:19.78) for Rancho.

Legacy 112, Western 32 — At Desert Breeze, Katheryn Smedley won the 50 freestyle (29.21) and 100 freestyle (1:10.4) to lead the Longhorns past the Warriors.

Megan Rocheford won the 500 freestyle (8:11.6) and 100 backstroke (1:32.22) for Western.

Faith Lutheran 179, Centennial 94 — At Municipal, Jessica Watson and Caitlin Marks each won two events to power the Crusaders past the Bulldogs.

Watson won the 200 freestyle in 2:13.32 and the 100 freestyle in 1:02.21. Marks took the 200 individual medley in 2:27.95 and the 100 backstroke in 1:11.35.

Eldorado 136, Desert Pines 75 — At Municipal, Marissa Mousseau won the 200 individual medley (2:59.14) and 100 breaststroke (1:25.05) to lead the Sundevils past the Jaguars.

Spring Valley 139, Durango 129 — At Municipal, Ashley Hedlund won the 100 butterfly (1:02.49) and 500 freestyle (6:27.57) to help the Grizzlies edge the Trailblazers.

Jamie McDowell placed first in the 200 individual medley (2:21.24) and 100 backstroke (1:06.42) for Durango.

Virgin Valley 129, Canyon Springs 111 — At Municipal, Katie Belacazar (200 individual medley, 100 butterfly), Jessuca Haun (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle) and Kortney Zuk (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle) each won two events to lead the Bulldogs.
