ROUNDUP: Harris sparks Silverado girls to win

Mallory Harris won the 100-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke to lead Silverado to a 154-112 win over Cimarron-Memorial in girls swimming Saturday at Desert Breeze.

Harris won the 100 freestyle in 57.47 seconds and the breaststroke in 1:21.84.

Cimarron’s Amanda Guerrero and Sarah Guerrero won two events each. Amanda Guerrero won the 100 butterfly (1:02.69) and 200 individual medley (2:14.61). Sarah Guerrero was first in the 500 freestyle (6:18.78) and 100 backstroke (1:15.75).

Las Vegas 157, Bonanza 138 — At Desert Breeze, the Wildcats won every swimming event en route to the victory.

Carrah Jones won the 500 freestyle (7:31.97) and 100 backstroke (1:32.77) for Las Vegas, and Rebecca Hill took the 200 individual medley (2:39.76) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.27).

Coronado 221, Spring Valley 80 — At Multi-Generational, the Cougars won every event to beat the Grizzlies.

Tatum Gormley won the 200 IM (2:16.45) and 100 butterfly (1:01.1), and Samantha Harrison was first in the 200 freestyle (2:01.9) and 100 backstroke (1:07.04).

Durango 163, Basic 144 — At Multi-Generational, Jamie McDowell (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly) and Lauren Dartois (200 individual medley, 100 freestyle) won twice each to lead the Trailblazers over the Wolves.

Desert Oasis 156, Tech 95 — At Multi-Generational, the Diamondbacks won all but one swimming event to defeat the Roadrunners.

Sarah Rosenfeld, Mikaela Marquez and Allison Reiplinger each won two events. Rosenfeld was first in the 200 IM (2:42.31) and 100 butterfly (1:21.31), Marquez won the 200 freestyle (2:26.62) and 100 freestyle (1:06.67) and Reiplinger took the 50 freestyle (30.65) and 500 freestyle (6:10.56).

Shadow Ridge 194, Moapa Valley 67 — At Desert Breeze, Sarah Miller won the 500 freestyle (5:44.97) and 100 butterfly (1:06.69) as the Mustangs dunked the Pirates.

Foothill 189, Centennial 106 — At Desert Breeze, Caytie Maddock, Courtney Maddock and Jennifer Schulte each won twice to help the Falcons beat the Bulldogs.

Caytie Maddock won the 200 freestyle (1:58.03) and 500 freestyle (5:13.12), Courtney Maddock was first in the 200 IM (2:17.36) and 100 butterfly (1:05.7) and Schulte won the 50 freestyle (28.51) and 100 breaststroke (1:19.32).

Bishop Gorman 191, The Meadows 17 — At Desert Breeze, the Gaels won every event against the Mustangs.

Gorman’s Stephanie Jablon (100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle) and Shawn Sinclair (500 freestyle, 200 individual medley) each won two events.

Boulder City 151½, Arbor View 141½ — At Municipal, Julia Jeppsen, Kelsey Thompson and Paige Moravec won two events apiece to lead the Eagles past the Aggies.

Jeppsen won the 50 freestyle (27.84) and 100 freestyle (1:00.29), Moravec took the 200 IM (2:24.18) and 500 freestyle (5:41.14) and

Thompson won the 100 butterfly (1:07.54) and 100 backstroke (1:06.34).

Chaparral 139, Mojave 77 — At Municipal, Andrea Garcia won the 200 IM (2:43.5) and 100 backstroke (1:14.34) to help the Cowboys defeat the Rattlers.

Kimberly Romero was first in the 50 freestyle (34.32) and 100 freestyle (1:24.49) for Chaparral.

Virgin Valley 131, Clark 117 — At Municipal, Kortney Zuk won the 200 freestyle (2:32.48) and 100 backstroke (1:21.46) to guide the Bulldogs past the Chargers.

Sierra Vista 174, Eldorado 72 — At Municipal, the Mountain Lions won every event to down the Sundevils.

Anamey Nava won the 100 butterfly (1:11.19) and 100 breaststroke (1:19.22), and Kacey Smith was first in the 200 IM (2:28.62) and 100 freestyle (59.9).
