ROUNDUP: Palo Verde girls swimmers dominate Spring Valley

Alexis Mayhall, Megan Kelly and Mikayda Mills each won twice Saturday at Pavilion as Palo Verde’s girls took first place in all 11 swimming events and posted a 203-84 win over Spring Valley.
Mayhall won the 50 freestyle in 26.78 seconds and took the 100 butterfly in 1:05.32.
Kelly won the 200 individual medley (2:21.63) and 100 freestyle (57.78).
Mills captured the 200 (2:04.87) and 500 freestyles (5:37.87).
Rancho 186, Moapa Valley 36 — At Pavilion, Stephani Mendizabal and Jessica Esteban each won two individual events, and the Rams swept all 11 events in a rout of Moapa Valley.
Esteban took the 200 individual medley (2:53.47) and the 100 breaststroke (1:31.94).
Mendizabal won the 100 backstroke (1:49.06) and the 500 freestyle (7:23.34).
Basic 200, Eldorado 66 — At Multi-Generational, Brianna Kyff and Rochelle Austin each won twice to help the Wolves down the Sundevils.
Kyff took the 200 individual medley (2:38.25) and the 100 butterfly (1:18.37). Austin won the 50 (30.28) and 100 freestyles (1:08.07).
Boulder City 198, Tech 79 — At Multi-Generational, Shelby Gebhart and Paige Moravec won twice as the Eagles took every event except the diving to beat the Roadrunners.
Gebhart won the 200 (2:16.98) and 500 freestyles (6:04.99). Moravec won the 200 individual medley (2:29.95) and the 100 butterfly (1:07.44).
Del Sol 159, Canyon Springs 78 — At Multi-Generational, Tatiana Eastin won the 200 (2:19.55) and 500 freestyles (6:20.60) to help the Dragons down the Pioneers.
Galina Krol won the 50 (30.52) and 100 freestyles (1:11.06) for Canyon Springs.
Bonanza 134, Desert Oasis 119 — At Municipal, the Bengals won only four of the 11 events but used its depth to hold off the Diamondbacks.
Sarah Rosenfeld won the 100 (1:07.89) and 200 freestyles (2:27.73) for Desert Oasis, and teammate Mikaela Marquez took the 50 (28.53) and 500 freestyles (6:21.69).
Centennial 152, Cimarron-Memorial 114 — At Municipal, Mary Giza won the 200 individual medley (2:28.43) and 500 freestyle (5:50.94) to help the Bulldogs down the Spartans.
Amanda Guerrero won the 200 freestyle (2:08.57) and 100 backstroke (1:11.80) for Cimarron.
Chaparral 126, Virgin Valley 113 — At Pavilion, Andrea Garcia placed first in the 100 butterfly (1:14.78) and 200 individual medley (2:43.41) to lead the Cowboys over the Bulldogs.
Kortney Zuk won the 100 backstroke (1:20.31) and 200 freestyle (2:30.65) for Virgin Valley.
Cheyenne 71, Western 41 — At Pavilion, the Desert Shields won the two contested relays to beat the Warriors.
Megan Rocheford was first in the 500 freestyle (8:17.03) and 100 backstroke (1:34.78) for Western.
Valley 108, Desert Pines 100 — At Pavilion, Kersey Wahlquist won the 200 freestyle in 2:42.54 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:25.1 to lead the Vikings to victory.
Green Valley 219, Liberty 62 — At Pavilion, Emily Martin won the 100 (59.25) and 200 freestyles (2:08.91) to lead the Gators past the Patriots.
Green Valley won 11 of the 12 events.
Coronado 192, Foothill 117 — At Multi-Generational, Samantha Harrison and Alixan Mertel each won two events to help the Cougars beat the Falcons.
Harrison was first in the 200 freestyle (2:02.57) and 500 freestyle (5:21.59). Mertel won the 200 individual medley (2:19.47) and 100 backstroke (1:02.1).
Silverado 160, Las Vegas 134 — At Multi-Generational, Mallory Harris, Lauren Willis and Eryn Stampfel each won two events to lead the Skyhawks over the Wildcats.
Harris won the 100 butterfly (1:04.47) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.0). Willis won the 50 freestyle (26.17) and 100 freestyle (1:00.14).
Stampfel placed first in the 200 freestyle (2:36.25) and 500 freestyle (7:05.89).
Arbor View 163, Durango 122 — At Municipal, a balanced effort lifted the Aggies past the Trailblazers.
Lauren Dartois won the 200 freestyle (2:13.75) and 100 breaststroke (1:15.35) for Durango, and teammate Jamie McDowell took the 200 individual (2:23.78) and 100 butterfly (1:07.06).
Mojave 77, The Meadows 16 — At Municipal, Mojave won all but two of the contested events to defeat the Mustangs.
The Meadows’ Maddy Walsh won the 200 (2:43.47) and 500 freestyles (7:19.31).
Sierra Vista wins twice — At Municipal, Kacey Smith took the 200 (2:08.31) and 500 freestyles (5:40.65) as Sierra Vista collected victories over Faith Lutheran and Clark.
The Mountain Lions were 153-134 winners over Faith Lutheran and 178-89 winners over Clark. Faith Lutheran defeated Clark, 182-102.
Faith Lutheran’s Samantha Pearson won the 100 backstroke (1:01.97) and 200 individiual medley (2:20.65).
