ROUNDUP: Three Foothill girls win two apiece to pace Falcons past Patriots

Melissa Flannery, Zaineb Senn and Aubrielle Westover each won two events Saturday to lead Foothill’s girls swimming team to a 202-70 victory over Liberty at Multi-Generational.

Flannery took the 50-yard freestyle in 29.34 seconds and the 200 freestyle in 2 minutes, 29.34 seconds. Senn won the 500 freestyle in 6:25.87 and the 200 individual medley in 2:46.34. Westover claimed the 100 freestyle in 1:05.68 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:27.72.

Valley 142, Virgin Valley 131 — At Multi-Generational, Julie Dotson won the 100 butterfly in 1:12.65 and the 200 individual medley in 2:43.72 to help the Vikings edge the Bulldogs.

Virgin Valley’s Brailee Ogden took the 100 freestyle in 1:09.58 and the 200 freestyle in 2:31.47.

Cougars sweep Dragons, Roadrunners — At Multi-Generational, Coronado’s swimmers and divers won 11 of the 12 events and had eight different individual winners as the Cougars swept a pair of dual meets.

Coronado was a 192-61 victor over Del Sol and downed Tech, 191-100.

Basic 151, Las Vegas 94 — At Multi-Generational, Melanie Harris and Katlyn Porter each claimed two individual events to help the Wolves past the Wildats.

Harris won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.25 and the 200 individual medley in 2:18.3. Porter took the 200 freestyle (2:27.29) and 500 freestyle (6:37.2).

Chaparral 96, Moapa Valley 51 — At Multi-Generational, Cydney Stephensen won the 100 butterfly in 1:12.53 and the 500 freestyle in 6:06.09 to lead the Cowboys past the Pirates.

Green Valley 178, Silverado 107 — At Multi-Generational, Smaranda Georgescu, Carlee Oswald and Sarah McKay won two individual events apiece to power the Gators past the Skyhawks.

Georgescu won the 50 freestyle (26.2) and 100 freestyle (58.52). Oswald took the 500 freestyle in 5:29.35 and the 200 individual medley in 2:11.45. McKay captured the 100 butterfly in 1:01 and the 100 backstroke in 1:05.6.

Cimarron-Memorial 168, Shadow Ridge 123 — At Desert Breeze, Tzu Lin, Amanda Guerrero and Cambridge Guerrero took two events apiece to lead the Spartans past the Mustangs.

Lin won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.15 and the 200 individual medley in 2:19.81. Amanda Guerrero won the 100 freestyle in 1:00.28 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.84. Cambridge Guerrero took 50 freestyle in 26.63 and the 100 butterfly in 1:06.37.

Shadow Ridge’s Stephanie Brereton captured the 200 freestyle (2:19.7) and 500 freestyle (6:02.31).

Centennial 155, Arbor View 145 — At Desert Breeze, Agnese Caretti won the 200 individual medley (2:13.44) and100 butterfly (1:04.12) to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.
Centennial also swept the relays.

Boulder City 168, Palo Verde 126 — At Pavilion, Cori Molisee and Nathalie Grothe each won a pair of individual events, and the Eagles won all but one swim event to down the Panthers.

Molisee placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:59.43) and 100 freestyle (54.53), and Grothe won the 200 individual medley (2:14.72) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.67).

Bonanza 196, Desert Oasis 97 — At Desert Breeze, the Bengals won six events en route to the victory.

Allison Reiplinger won the 200 individual medley (2:35.0) and 500 freestyle (6:04.84) for the Diamondbacks.

Sunrise Mountain 147, Western 65 — At Desert Breeze, the Miners won five events to claim the victory.
