ROUNDUP: Trio helps Sierra Vista girls swim past Desert Oasis

Anamey Nava, Alexandra Viray and Kacey Smith each won a pair of events Saturday to help Sierra Vista’s girls swimming team defeat Desert Oasis 158-107 at Desert Breeze.
Nava won the 50 freestyle (27.99 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:28.53). Viray took the 100 freestyle (1:03.47) and 100 breaststroke (1:21.54), and Smith captured the 100 butterfly (1:03.32) and 100 backstroke (1:07.49).
Palo Verde 195½, Centennial 82½ — At Desert Breeze, Kelly Chism, Alexis Mayhall and Mikayda Mills each won twice as the Panthers rolled past the Bulldogs.
Chism took the 100 butterfly (1:07.97) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.07). Mayhall won the 200 individual medley (2:15.36) and 500 freestyle (5:22.48). Mills won the 50 (24.75) and 100 freestyles (54.34).
Green Valley 228, Tech 50 — At Whitney Ranch, Carlee Oswald and Addie Oswald each took two individual events as the Gators won every event except diving and downed the Roadrunners.
Carlee Oswald won the 100 (56.03) and 200 freestyle (2:03.53).
Addie Oswald took the 200 individual medley (2:15.15) and 100 backstroke (1:02.41).
Arbor View 189, Shadow Ridge 92 — At Desert Breeze, Jordann Steinberg won the 100 breaststroke (1:18.71) and 500 freestyle (6:30.81) to help the Aggies top the Mustangs.
Shadow Ridge’s Kimberly Bergo won the 200 individual medley (2:40.54) and 100 butterfly (1:16.15), and teammate Sarah Miller won the 200 freestyle (2:07.20) and 100 backstroke (1:14.14).
Legacy 111, Mojave 51 — At Whitney Ranch, Shannon Laidlaw won the 100 freestyle (1:03.46) and 100 backstroke (1:12.38) to help the Longhorns defeat the Rattlers.
Cassia Reed took the 200 individual medley (3:09.12) and 100 breaststroke (1:32.44) for Mojave.
Chaparral 120, Cheyenne 43 — At Whitney Ranch, Kelley Terry won the 100 backstroke (1:26.65) and 200 individual medley (3:10.82) to guide the Cowboys past the Desert Shields.
 
Bonanza 154, Durango 131 — At Desert Breeze, Bonanza used its depth to hold off Durango, which won eight of the 11 swimming events.
 
Durango's Jamie McDowell took the 200 individual medley (2:23.93) and 500 freestyle (5:48.53).
 
Faith Lutheran 145, Spring Valley 123 — At Desert Breeze, Caitlin Marks and Jessica Watson each collected two wins to help the Crusaders top Spring Valley.
 
Marks won the 200 freestyle (2:08.74) and 100 breaststroke (1:11.11). Watson took the 200 individual medley (2:32.83) and 500 freestyle (6:01.22).
 
Western 46, The Meadows 34 — At Desert Breeze, Western won only one of the five contested events, but still defeated the Mustangs.
 
The Meadows' Jessie Barra won the 50 (26.49) and 500 (5:10.56) freestyles.
 
Rancho sweeps Clark, Cimarron — At Desert Breeze, Rancho's Jessica Esteban won the 200 individual medley (2:52.41) and 100 backstroke (1:18.93) to lead the Rams to a pair of wins.
 
Rancho defeated Clark, 133-128, and beat Cimarron-Memorial, 137-113. Clark was a 140-124 winner over Cimarron.
 
Cimarron's Sarah Guerrero won the 100 (1:04.71) and 200 freestyles (2:21.47).
