ROUNDUP: Westover paces Foothill girls in win over Durango

Aubrielle Westover won two events Thursday to lead Foothill’s girls swim team to a 181-83 victory over Durango at Multi-Generational.

Westover took the 50-yard freestyle in 29.31 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:16.54.

Durango’s Evelynne Hernandez won the 200 individual medley in 2:37.66 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.24.

Las Vegas 175, Canyon Springs 96 — At Multi-Generational, Whitney Otto won the 50 freestyle in 29.33 and the 200 freestyle in 2:40.89 to lift the Wildcats past the Pioneers.

Rancho 162, Spring Valley 110 — At Multi-Generational, Breanna Lint took the 200 freestyle in 2:31.11 and the 100 butterfly in 1:18.51 as the Rams defeated the Grizzlies.

Sunrise Mountain 161, Desert Pines 66 — At Multi-Generational, the Miners won eight events on their way to a victory over the Jaguars.

Desert Pines’ Xiomara Barahona won the 200 individual medley in 3:04.71 and the 100 backstroke in 1:22.22.
