SWIMMING: Trio propels Boulder City girls past Green Valley

Alex Hubel, Becca Lelles and Cori Molisee each won two individual events at Multi-Generational on Saturday to lead Boulder City’s girls swimming team to a 181-119 victory over Green Valley.

Hubel won the 200-yard freestyle in 1 minute, 55.65 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 53.69. Lelles took the 200 individual medley in 2:13.22 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.19, and Molisee captured the 100 butterfly in 1:00.83 and the 50 freestyle in 24.57.

Bishop Gorman 182, Palo Verde 127 — At Pavilion, Olivia Barker and Amy Lubawy each won two individual events to guide the Gaels by the Panthers.

Barker took the 200 individual medley in 2:10.02 and the 100 butterfly in 57.31, and Lubawy captured the 50 freestyle in 24.24 and the 100 freestyle in 52.82.

Palo Verde’s Erin Emery won the 200 freestyle in 1:52.94 and the 500 freestyle in 5:04.64.

Arbor View 159, Centennial 155 — At Pavilion, the Aggies won the day’s final race — the 400 freestyle relay — to nip the Bulldogs.

Centennial’s Maddie Cartmill took the 200 freestyle in 2:07.55 and the 500 freestyle in 5:38.25.

Bonanza 145, Durango 128 — At Pavilion, Donna Byrne won the 200 freestyle in 2:24.6 and the 100 butterfly in 1:19.58 to lead the Bengals by the Trailblazers.

Durango’s Anna Ward won the 500 freestyle in 6:17.78 and the 100 backstroke in 1:12.58.

Basic 197, Canyon Springs 61 — At Pavilion, Melanie Harris and Malorie Pullen each won twice as the Wolves swam past the Pioneers.

Harris took the 200 freestyle in 2:02.44 and the 200 individual medley in 3:18.7, and Pullen claimed the 500 freestyle in 7:34.75 and the 100 butterfly in 1:25.53.

Spring Valley 146, Cimarron-Memorial 120 — At Pavilion, Katelyn Faulk and Shyrun Karandikar each took two individual events to lead the Grizzlies by the Spartans.

Faulk won the 200 freestyle in 2:20.78 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.75, and Karandikar claimed the 200 individual medley in 2:54.01 and the 100 butterfly in 1:24.16.

Cimarron’s Cambridge Guerrero won the 50 freestyle in 27.17 and the 100 backstroke in 1:08.67.

Shadow Ridge 186, Legacy 101 — At Pavilion, Stella Schamberger won the 50 freestyle in 28.76 and the 100 freestyle in 1:03.22 to lead the Mustangs by the Longhorns.

Sierra Vista 157, Desert Oasis 142 — At Multi-Generational, Isabella Green and Anjelica Vargas won two events apiece to propel the Mountain Lions by the Diamondbacks.

Green won the 200 individual medley in 2:20.02 and the 100 butterfly in 1:10.24, and Vargas took the 50 freestyle in 27.74 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:22.63.

Desert Oasis’ Karen Kurosawa won the 200 freestyle in 2:08.81 and the 100 backstroke in 1:07.38.

Las Vegas 140, Eldorado 125 — At Multi-Generational, April Martinez took the 50 freestyle in 26.93 and the 100 freestyle in 57.46 to lead the Wildcats by the Sundevils.

Eldorado’s Stacey Cuevas won the 100 butterfly in 1:07.37 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.76.

Rancho 173, Valley 103 — At Mutli-Generational, Patricia Matha and Tonicia Thomas won two events apiece as the Rams downed the Vikings.

Matha won the 100 butterfly in 1:17.44 and the 200 individual medley in 2:30.4, and Thomas captured the 100 backstroke in 1:01.16 and the 100 freestyle in 54.68.

Liberty 181, Del Sol 39 — At Heritage, Sasha Guo won the 200 freestyle in 2:22 and the 50 freestyle in 29.01 as the Patriots routed the Dragons.

Faith Lutheran wins twice
At Pavilion, Rori Conners claimed the 100 freestyle in 1:02.7 and the 500 freestyle in 5:44.15 to help Faith Lutheran to a 144-142 win over Clark and 144-70 win over Cheyenne.

Cheyenne’s Destinee Larosee won the 200 freestyle in 2:20.22 and the 100 butterfly in 1:09.62

Swan helps Coronado to win
At Heritage, Shyla Swan won the 50 freestyle in 25.55 and the 100 butterfly in 1:02.72 to lift Coronado to a 166-146 win over Silverado.

Silverado was a 203-97 winner over Foothill.

The Skyhawks’ Gabriela Graham won the 200 individual medley in 2:17.91 and the 500 freestyle in 5:25.25.

Luchsinger, Cowboys earn victory
At Heritage, Summer Luchsinger won the 50 freestyle in 25.1 and the 100 freestyle in 54.97 to help Chaparral to a 173-69 victory over Desert Pines.

Tech also was a 201-58 winner over the Jaguars.
