Boys Tennis: Bishop Gorman puts away Foothill

The doubles teams of Max Wolfson and Frankie Ward, and Oliver Filipovic and Franco Alvarez each went 3-0 to lead Bishop Gorman’s boys tennis team to a 12-6 home win over Foothill on Thursday afternoon.

Stefan Sretenovic went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Falcons.

Palo Verde 13, Faith Lutheran 5 — At Darling Tennis Center, Jack Kostrinsky and Axel Botticelli each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Panthers by the Crusaders.

Richard Coop and Ryan Jensen were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Max Blum and Stephen Dobrev went 3-0 in singles for Faith Lutheran.

Spring Valley 15, Durango 3 — At Durango, the doubles teams of Tanakrit Richie and Spencer Clingio, and Shawn Morton and Zach Nagel each went 3-0 to lead the Grizzlies past the Trailblazers.

Zachary Billot went 2-1 in singles play for the Grizzlies.

Arjay Angus went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Trailblazers.

Adelson School 12, Del Sol 6 — At Del Sol, the doubles teams of Sammy Katz and Liel Simhayoff, and Ore Inbar and Dale Weiford both finished 3-0 to lead the Lions past the Dragons.

LaVerk Hodges was 3-0 in singles to pace Del Sol.

Clark 12, Desert Oasis 6 — At Desert Oasis, Rahul Gupte went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Chargers past the Diamondbacks.

The doubles team of Shanil Jayaweera and Mathew Spagnolo went 2-1 for the Chargers.

Boulder City 18, Chaparral 0 — At Boulder City, Connor Mikkelson and Breton Erlanger each went 2-0 in singles as the Eagles shut out the Cowboys.

The Eagles received 2-0 days from the doubles teams of Ty Pendleton and Karson Bailey, Leaf Kaboli and Philipp Zengl, and Boen Huxford and Preston Jorgensen.

Cimarron-Memorial 18, Canyon Springs 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Hakeem Williams and Neil Baird each went 2-0 as the Spartans routed the Pioneers.

Virgin Valley 16, Mojave 2 — At Mesquite, David Vogel went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs defeat the Rattlers.

Green Valley 14, Silverado 4 — At Green Valley, the Gators downed the Skyhawks.

Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Vikings won by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Pirates won by forfeit.
