BOYS TENNIS: Clark edges Spring Valley

Marcus Pasimio went 3-0 in singles Thursday as the Clark boys tennis team edged visiting Spring Valley, 10-8.

The doubles team of Jaxson Otis and Kyler Moser went 2-1 to lead the Grizzlies.

Boulder City 13, Moapa Valley 5 — At Overton, Andre Papas was 3-0 in singles play to help the Eagles down the Pirates.

Desert Oasis 15, Bonanza 3 — At Desert Oasis, the doubles team of Caiden Jacob and Tyler Parlade went 3-0 to lead the Diamondbacks past the Bengals.

Justin Balconi and Chance DeRiso went 2-1 in doubles for Bonanza.

Rancho 15, Canyon Springs 3 — At Canyon Springs, Luis Moreno-Arias went 3-0 in singles to help the Rams top the Pioneers.

Ojas Sali was 2-1 in singles for Rancho.

Gatlin DeBoni went 2-1 in singles to lead Canyon Springs.

Palo Verde 17, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Darling Tennis Center, Sam Soderborg, Jaden Atkin and Denim Richardson each went 2-0 in singles to help the Panthers rout the Crusaders.

Jack Hughes and Travis Clingman went 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Bishop Gorman 18, Durango 0 — At Durango, Michael Connors and Matt Lamb finished 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels blanked the Trailblazers.

Eldorado 12, Valley 0 — At Eldorado, the Sundevils beat the Vikings by forfeit.

Adelson School 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Lions defeated the Desert Shields by forfeit.

Chaparral 12, Del Sol 0 — At Chaparral, the Cowboys defeated the Dragons by forfeit.

Tech vs. Virgin Valley — At Mesquite, the match was postponed because of weather. It has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

The Meadows boys tennis team won the Class 4A state title Friday in Reno. The Boulder City boys and girls lost to Northern teams in the 3A title matches.
