BOYS TENNIS: Crone, Scott lead Cowboys over Roadrunners

Tyler Crone and Brandon Scott went 3-0 in doubles Monday to lead Chaparral’s boys tennis team to an 11-7 home win over Tech.

Pierce Morgan and Nick Hansen went 2-1 in singles for the Cowboys.

Christian Valle was 3-0 in singles for the Roadrunners.

Also on Monday, the Roadrunners won a tiebreaker over Chaparral to complete a match that was suspended by darkness on Sept. 12. The teams each won three tiebreaker games, but Tech outscored Chaparral, 28-27 to earn the win.

Clark 12, The Meadows 6 — At Clark, Andrew Lim and Miko Pasimio each went 2-0 in singles as the Chargers defeated the Mustangs.

Christian Ong and Mark McCrary finished 2-0 in doubles for Clark.

Bishop Gorman 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Desert Oasis, Jalen Paulos and Joe Conners went 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels topped the Diamondbacks.

Ben Gajardo and Aaron Tan each went 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Bonanza 13, Legacy 5 — At Bonanza, Alec Taylor was 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals by the Longhorns.

Andy Stephenson and Jacob Mabey went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Quentin Ewing and Samuel Moody were 2-1 in doubles for Legacy.

Centennial 16, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron, Chet Durkin and Noah Siegle each went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs to a victory over the Spartans.

Centennial’s doubles teams of Parker McDononugh and Ricky Koplow, and Dallan Johnson and Dakota Trombley each went 2-0.

Moapa Valley 16, Desert Pines 2 — At Desert Pines, Hayden Dimick was 2-0 in singles as the Pirates topped the Jaguars.

Faith Lutheran 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Crusaders won by forfeit.

Virgin Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs won by forfeit.

Adelson School 12, Mojave 0 — At Adelson, the Lions won by forfeit.

Del Sol 12, Western 0 — At Del Sol, the Dragons won by forfeit.
