BOYS TENNIS: Frei, Seely lead Pirates over Roadrunners

Koby Frei and Ethan Seely teamed to go 3-0 in doubles Wednesday as Moapa Valley defeated visiting Tech, 13-5, in boys tennis.

Hayden Dimick was 2-0 in singles, and Logan Call and Jason Zerkle went 2-0 in doubles for the Pirates.

Christian Valle went 3-0 in singles for the Roadrunners.

The Pirates also posted a 10-2 win over Tech in the completion of a match that was suspended by rain on Sept. 9.

Centennial 14, Desert Oasis 4 — At Desert Oasis, Alex Nicoll and Paul Connor went 3-0 in doubles as the Bulldogs downed the Diamondbacks.

Ben Gajardo was 3-0 in singles to lead Desert Oasis.

Bonanza 14, Cimarron-Memorial 4 — At Cimarron, Andy Stephenson was 3-0 in singles as the Bengals defeated the Spartans.

Jacob Mabey and Weston Clark were 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Chaparral 14, Desert Pines 4 — At Chaparral, Nick Hansen and Pierce Morgan each went 2-0 in singles to help the Cowboys defeat the Jaguars.

Bishop Gorman 15, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Jalen Paulos and Joe Connors went 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels defeated the Longhorns.

Austin Dickieson was 2-0 in singles for Gorman.

Coronado 15, The Meadows 3 — At The Meadows, Cassell King and Sam Grant each went 3-0 in singles as the Cougars topped the Mustangs.

Liberty 11, Las Vegas 7 — At Liberty, Al Gourrier went 3-0 in singles as the Patriots downed the Wildcats.

Boulder City 10, Sunrise Mountain 6 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Eagles topped the Miners.

Clark 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Chargers won by forfeit.

Cheyenne at Mojave — At Mojave, both teams forfeited as neither the Desert Shields nor the Rattlers had the required six players.
