BOYS TENNIS: Perfect doubles team helps Basic edge Silverado

Thomas Romero and Nick Stellavato went 3-0 in doubles Wednesday to help Basic to an 11-7 victory at Silverado.
Gavin Mangan and Garrison Stinnett each went 2-1 in singles for the Wolves.
Seth Forstner was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Logan Edington and Jacob Eisenzimmer went 2-1 for the Skyhawks.
Centennial 12, Legacy 6 — At Centennial, Justin Madsen and Raul Saucedo each went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns.
Willie Grijalva-Valdez was 2-0 in singles for Legacy.
Faith Lutheran 17, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Kyle Avery, Maxwell Blum and Michael Markontonis each went 2-0 in singles to help the Crusaders top the Spartans.
Clark 13, Sierra Vista 5 — At Clark, Michael Pasimio was 2-0 in singles as the Chargers downed the Mountain Lions.
Coronado 10, Green Valley 8 — At Coronado, Joshua Egbert and Javid Habashi went 3-0 in doubles to lift the Cougars to a win over the Gators.
Foothill 11, Liberty 7 — At Liberty, Nathan Young and Ben Crawford went 3-0 in doubles to help the Falcons beat the Patriots.
The Meadows 11, Desert Pines 7 — At The Meadows, Nathaniel Van der Post and Ethan Lee each went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs topped the Jaguars.
Palo Verde 18, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, the Panthers rolled past the Aggies.
Adelson School 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Lions won by forfeit.
Virgin Valley 12, Del Sol 0 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs defeated the Dragons by forfeit.
Western vs. Cheyenne — At Cheyenne, neither team had the required six players, so the match was a double forfeit.
