BOYS TENNIS: Pirates slip by rival Bulldogs

Koby Frei and Ethan Seely went 2-0 in doubles Tuesday to help Moapa Valley’s boys tennis team to an 11-7 win over Virgin Valley in Mesquite.

Jacob Mikkelsen went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs.

Las Vegas 13, Foothill 5 — At Las Vegas, Kevin Fedde and Jeremiah Garcia each went 3-0 in singles to help the Wildcats beat the Falcons.

T.J. Esporsa was 2-0 in singles for Las Vegas.

Clark 13, Faith Lutheran 5 — At Clark, Miko Pasimio went 3-0 in singles, and Deric Pang was 2-0 in singles to help the Chargers down the Crusaders.

Bob Flummerfelt and Mike Fiscus went 2-1 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Bishop Gorman 15, Desert Oasis 3 — At Gorman, Jalen Paulos and Joe Connors went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels by the Diamondbacks.

Sam Sholeff was 3-0 in singles, and Skylar Davidson finished 2-1 for Gorman.

Ben Gajardo was 2-1 in singles to lead Desert Oasis.

Chaparral 16, Boulder City 1 — At Chaparral, Matt Ellison and Pierce Morgan each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Cowboys by the Eagles.

Nick Hansen was 2-1 in singles for Chaparral.

Bonanza 12, Legacy 6 — At Legacy, Jacob Mabey and Andy Stephenson went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bengals past the Longhorns.

Alec Taylor was 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.

Sam Moody won all three of his singles sets to lead Legacy.

Centennial 16, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs downed the Spartans.

Adelson School 12, Western 0 — At Adelson School, the Lions won by forfeit.

The Meadows 12, Cheyenne 0 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Desert Pines 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Desert Pines won by forfeit.
