Roundup: Arbor View nips Spring Valley

John David posted a 2-1 singles record to guide Arbor View’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 road victory over Spring Valley on Thursday afternoon.
The doubles team of McKade Dudman and Dylan Karn also went 2-0 for the Aggies.
Vangeli Zimmerman went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Grizzlies.
Clark 15, Bonanza 3 — At Clark, Rahul Gupte and Artem Iermolov each went 2-0 in singles play to help the Chargers rout the Bengals.
Durango 9, Cimarron-Memorial 4 — At Durango, Arjay Angus and Jovan Lubura each finished 3-0 in singles to help the Traiblazers top the Spartans.
Bishop Gorman 14, Shadow Ridge 4 — At Bishop Gorman, the doubles team of Frankie Ward and Logan Poniewaz went 1-1 as the Gaels downed the Mustangs.
The Meadows 12, Western 0 — At The Meadows, the Mustangs defeated the Warriors, by forfeit.
Faith Lutheran 12, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Faith Lutheran won by forfeit.
Desert Pines 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Jaguars won by forfeit.
Centennial at Desert Oasis — The match between the Bulldogs and Diamondbacks was stopped by rain and lightning with Centennial leading 9-4.
Foothill at Coronado — The match between the Falcons and Cougars was postponed.
The match has been tentatively rescheduled for Sept. 26.
Cheyenne at Adelson School — The match between the Desert Shields and Lions was postponed.
The schools will make up the match on Sept. 27.
Moapa Valley at Basic — The match between the Pirates and Wolves was postponed.
