Roundup: Chase Kasday goes unblemished to power Bonanza

Bonanza’s Chase Kasday did not lose a game in going 3-0 in singles and leading the Bengals’ boys tennis team to an 11-7 road victory over Faith Lutheran.

Levon Grigoryan was 3-0 in singles, and Blake Kasday and Stone Perry went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Faith Lutheran’s doubles teams of Blake Kelly and Taylor Pettigrew, and Maxwell Blum and Stephen Dobrev both went 2-0.

Spring Valley 11, Silverado 7 — At Spring Valley, the doubles team of Spencer Clingio and Tanakrit Richie was 3-0 to lead the Grizzlies past the Skyhawks.

Vangeli Zimmerman went 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Zach Nagel and Shawn Morton went 2-1 for the Grizzlies.

Silverado’s Gus Pappas was 3-0 in singles, and teammate Owen Cox was 2-1 in singles.

Coronado 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Desert Oasis, Aiden Benoualid, Zachary Sullivan and Jonah Blake each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Cougars over the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Parlade and Ognjen Zekanovic were 3-0 in doubles for Desert Oasis.

Basic 15, Sierra Vista 3 — At Basic, Gabriel Koukkala went 3-0 in singles to lead the Wolves past the Mountain Lions.

J.D. Stellavato and Jacob Cunanan went 2-0 in doubles for Basic.

Las Vegas 15, Valley 3 — At Las Vegas High, Ashton Barney and Nathan Freimuth went 3-0 in doubles to help the Wildcats defeat the Vikings.

Fernando Carmona and Leander Gates also went 3-0 in doubles for Las Vegas.

Boulder City 16, Eldorado 2 — At Boulder City, Connor Mikkelson went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles over the Sundevils.

Boen Huxford and Preston Jorgensen went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City, and the doubles teams of Ty Pendleton and Karson Bailey, and Leaf Kaboli and Philipp Zengl each went 2-0.

Braden Soileau was 2-0 in singles for the Eagles.

Clark 17, Bishop Gorman 1 — At Gorman, the Chargers swept the singles sets en route to a commanding victory over the Gaels.

Artem Iermolov, Rahul Gupte and Max Foels each went 3-0 in singles for Clark.

Simran Shah and Mark Bernales went 3-0 in doubles for the Chargers, as did Shanil Jayaweera and Matthew Spagnolo.

Foothill 10, Green Valley 9 — At Green Valley, the Falcons defeated the Gators 4-2 via tiebreaker.

Liberty 10, Tech 8 — At Tech, the Patriots edged the Roadrunners.

Durango 18, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, the Trailblazers blanked the Jaguars.

Del Sol 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Dragons beat the Miners by forfeit.

Adelson School 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Lions won by forfeit over the Rattlers.
