ROUNDUP: Cimarron boys sweep doubles sets, take down Diamondbacks

Cimarron-Memorial’s boys tennis team swept all nine doubles sets Wednesday en route to an 11-7 win over Desert Oasis.

The Spartans got 3-0 efforts out of the doubles teams of Taylor Larsen and Nate Starlin, James Salls and Nate Starlin, and Kennedy Alexander and Xan Vital.

Bryce Tacker went 3-0 in singles for the Diamondbacks.

Valley 11, Las Vegas 7 — At Valley, David Delaney went 3-0 in singles to give the Vikings a win over the Wildcats.

Lorenzo Capannolo and Michael Coppedge were 3-0 in doubles play for Valley.

Zach Blanco and T.J. Esporas each went 2-1 in singles to lead Las Vegas.

Moapa Valley 11, Boulder City 7— At Overton, Skyler Hill went 3-0 in singles and teammate Kade Bryant was 2-1 in singles as the Pirates beat the Eagles.

Kirby May and Hayden Dimick went 2-0 in doubles for Moapa Valley.

Daniel Henderson went 2-1 in singles, and Brent Hickey and Jacob Harrison were 2-1 in doubles for Boulder City.

Rancho 10, Silverado 8 — At Silverado, Rohan Gupte went 3-0 in singles to lead the Rams past the Skyhawks.

Andy Gamboa and Peng Huang went 3-0 in doubles for Rancho.

Virgin Valley 10, Chaparral 8 — At Chaparral, Kadan Atkin went 3-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs edge the Cowboys.

Zack Harman and Brian Moya were 3-0 in doubles for Chaparral.

Centennial 18, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs rolled to an easy win over the Longhorns.

The Meadows 17, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson School, the Mustangs topped the Lions.

Bishop Gorman 14, Bonanza 4 — At Bonanza, the Gaels downed the Bengals.

Tech 14, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Roadrunners defeated the Miners.

Basic 15, Desert Pines 3 — At Desert Pines, the Wolves topped the Jaguars.

Western 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Western, the Warriors won by forfeit.

Clark 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Chargers won by forfeit.

GIRLS

Rancho 12, Silverado 6 — At Silverado, Charmaine Andres and Jenny Deng teamed to go 3-0 in doubles and power the Rams past the Skyhawks.

Katie Barker went 3-0 in singles to lead Silverado.

Desert Oasis 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron, Ashlen Dale and Courtney Dale were 3-0 in doubles to send the Diamondbacks past the Spartans.

Kim Sanchez went 3-0 in singles to lead Cimarron.

Las Vegas 12, Valley 6 — At Valley, Selena Torres went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Justine Rosales and Erika Brunner went 2-1 to help the Wildcats secure a win over the Vikings.

Stephanie Taing and Olivia Jensen went 3-0 in doubles for Valley.

Bishop Gorman 14, Bonanza 4 — At Bonanza, Amber Del Rosario went 3-0 in singles to help the Gaels down the Bengals.

Gorman’s doubles teams of Addie Gardner and Taylor Larreau, and Morgan Matley and Marisol Avilla each went 3-0.

Adrienne Millow and Lauren Smith both went 2-1 in singles for Bonanza.

Basic 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Desert Pines, Paige Blake went 2-0 in singles to lift the Wolves over the Jaguars.

Mekham Singkhamta and Ashley Palacios went 3-0 in doubles to lead Desert Pines.

Boulder City 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Moapa Valley, Aiyana Donske and Melissa O’Berto each went 3-0 in singles to help the Eagles down the Pirates.

Taylor Finn and Arianna Hess went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Centennial 13, Legacy 5 — At Centennial, Michelle Albright went 3-0 in singles, and teammate Jade Novato was 2-0 in singles to help lead the Bulldogs past the Longhorns.

McKay Novak and Danielle Gordon went 3-0 in doubles for Centennial, which got a 2-0 doubles performance from Genica Chow and Savannah Sgro.

Haley Strong and Hailey Stolworthy went 2-1 in doubles for Legacy.

Virgin Valley 13, Chaparral 5 — At Chaparral, Sara Anderson and Kayla Grimm were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bulldogs to victory over the Cowboys.

Ginger Siu went 3-0 in singles to lead Chaparral.

Sunrise Mountain 9, Tech 8 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Miners nipped the Roadrunners.
