ROUNDUP: Cimarron girls nip Foothill

Starlyn Thomas went 3-0 in singles Thursday and Cimarron-Memorial’s girls tennis team won a tiebreaker, 4-2 to nip visiting Foothill, 10-9.
Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan went 3-0 in doubles for the Spartans.
Maranda Crumpler went 2-1 in singles, and Kathy Contarino and Brittany Nichols went 2-1 in doubles for Foothill.
Liberty 13, Durango 5 — At Liberty, Sina Gebrai and Janilie Dysico were 3-0 in doubles to help the host Patriots defeat Durango.
The Trailblazers’ Alexis Garrett went 3-0 in singles.
BOYS
Foothill 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Cimarron, John Qualls went 3-0 in singles to carry Foothill past the Spartans.
Chris Clementi went 2-0 in singles, and Kevin Dion and Dylan Hanzel 3-0 in doubles for Foothill.
Jonas Wellen and Pablo Osorio was 2-1 in doubles for Cimarron.
Liberty 13, Durango 5 — At Liberty, James Paras and Paul Acluba went 2-0 in doubles as the Patriots stopped Durango.
