Roundup: Desert Oasis clips Basic in tiebreaker

Desert Oasis’ boys tennis team outlasted Basic in a tiebreaker to post a 10-9 road victory on Friday.

After splitting their 18 regulation sets, the teams also split six tiebreaker games, but the Diamondbacks outscored the Wolves, 34-32 in the tiebreaker games to clinch the win.

Josh Sharman and Ignacio Relanzon went 3-0 in doubles for the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Parlade went 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Virgin Valley 10, Legacy 8 — At Mesquite, Gage Hughes and Chad Abbott teamed to go 3-0 in doubles and lead the Bulldogs by the Longhorns.

Adrian Jones II was 3-0 in singles, and teammate Justin Lamantia was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.

Clark 16, Durango 2 — At Durango, Artem Iermolov went 3-0 in singles to lead the Chargers to victory over the Trailblazers.

Ryan Dahan and Vidhushan Ramakrishnan went 1-0 in doubles for Clark.

Silverado 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At Silverado, Constandinos Pappas finished 3-0 in singles as the Skyhawks defeated the Mountain Lions.

Silverado’s Owen Cox also finished 2-0 in singles, and Jacob Quinton and Grady Thatcher finished 2-0 in doubles.

Palo Verde 11, Bonanza 7 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers defeated the Bengals.

Arbor View 12, Western 0 — At Arbor View, the Aggies defeated the Warriors via forfeit.

Shadow Ridge 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Shadow Ridge, the Mustangs defeated the Pioneers via forfeit.
