Roundup: Desert Oasis goes on the road to beat Faith Lutheran

Desert Oasis’ boys tennis team went on the road and swept the singles points to upset Faith Lutheran 13-5 in the Sunset Region quarterfinals on Tuesday.

Ognjen Zekanovic, Tyler Parlade and Devin Heiman each went 3-0 in singles for the Diamondbacks (10-4), who will play at Clark in a semifinal at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Jonah Grepke and Maxwell Blum went 2-1 in doubles for the Crusaders (11-5-1).

Clark 14, Arbor View 4 — At Clark, Mark Bernales and Teo Tabar went 3-0 in doubles play to help the Chargers beat the Aggies.

Artem Iermolov was 2-0 in singles for Clark (15-0).

Arbor View finished 6-8.

Bishop Gorman 16, Bonanza 2 — At Gorman, Lucas Hammond was 2-0 in singles as the Gaels routed the Bengals.

Gorman (13-1) will host Palo Verde in a semifinal at 3 p.m on Wednesday.

Bonanza finished 7-6.

Palo Verde 17, Centennial 1 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers coasted to a decisive victory over Centennial (8-5).

Sunrise Region

Liberty 12, Silverado 6 — At Liberty, Kevin Blomquist was 3-0 in singles to lead the Patriots over the Skyhawks in the Sunrise Region quarterfinals.

Liberty (8-4) plays at Coronado at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Silverado finished 6-7.

Green Valley 16, Las Vegas 2 - At Green Valley, Ryan Elezra and Petar Matejic each went 3-0 in singles to help the Gators defeat the Wildcats.

Green Valley (9-2) will play at Foothill in a semifinal at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Las Vegas finished 4-8.

Coronado 16, Rancho 2 — At Coronado, Zachary Sullivan and Rohan Konchada each finished 2-0 in singles as the Cougars (11-0) rolled by the Rams.

Rancho finished 9-7.

Foothill 15, Basic 3 — At Foothill, Stefan Sretenovic went 3-0 in singles to lead the Falcons over the Wolves.

The doubles team of Andrew Hauck and Brandon Maroushek was 2-0 for Foothill (10-3).

Garrison Stinnett went 2-1 for the Wolves (4-8).

Class 3A Southern Region

Moapa Valley 16, Adelson School 2 — At Overton, Chase Hadley, Adam Smedley and Conner Batty each finished 3-0 in singles as the Pirates cruised past the Lions.

Slade Graham and Gavin Hadley teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Moapa Valley (10-4), which will play at The Meadows at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Boulder City 18, Mojave 0 — At Boulder City, the Eagles routed the Rattlers.

The Eagles (16-0) will host Desert Pines at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Rattlers fell to 3-11.

Desert Pines 15, Tech 3 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars (13-4) routed the Roadrunners (7-4).

The Meadows 17, Virgin Valley 1 — At the Meadows, the Mustangs (14-0) rolled past Virgin Valley (7-7).
