ROUNDUP: Doubles teams help Crusaders edge Bengals

The doubles teams of Rachel Taber and Chandler Young, and Alexis Smith and Kristina Berg each went 3-0 Friday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 win over Bonanza at Darling Tennis Center.

Adrienne Millow was 3-0 in singles for the Crusaders.

Clark 10, Centennial 8 — At Clark, Sharon Fang went 2-0 in singles, and Abbey Escala teamed with SiYan Long to go 2-0 in doubles to lead the Chargers over the Bulldogs.

The doubles teams of Danielle Gordon and McKay Novak, and Michelle Albright and Jade Novato each went 2-0 to lead Centennial. 

Eldorado 16, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Yunuen Cuicas was 3-0 in singles, and Yoli Carrillo and Dora Carrillo went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Sundevils past the Pirates.

Janessa Gates was 1-1 in singles for Moapa Valley.

BOYS

Eldorado 14, Moapa Valley 4 — At Overton, Alan Ibarra went 3-0 in singles, and Joey Barnhurst and Jake Hollingsworth were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Sundevils past the Pirates.

Centennial 11, Clark 7 — At Clark, the Bulldogs topped the Chargers.

Faith Lutheran 12, Bonanza 0 — The Crusaders won by forfeit.
