Roundup: Foothill nips Silverado

Foothill’s Stefan Sretenovic and Ben Crawford each went 3-0 in singles as the Falcons nipped host Silverado 10-8 in boys tennis on Wednesday.

Dominic Gonzalez and Joel Benavidez were 2-1 in doubles for the Falcons.

Owen Cox and Costandinos went 3-0 in doubles for Silverado. Grady Thatcher and Jacob Quinton finished 2-0 in doubles for the Skyhawks.

Desert Oasis 10, Spring Valley 8 — At Desert Oasis, Eliseo Wao-Udin and Tyler Parlade each went 3-0 in singles to help the Diamondbacks get by the Grizzlies.

Zachary Billot and Spencer Clingio were 2-1 in doubles for Spring Valley.

Clark 11, Coronado 7 — At Clark, Mark Bernales and Simran Shah went 3-0 in doubles play as the Chargers beat the Cougars.

Rahul Gupte was 3-0 in singles for Clark.

Colin Peltier and Akhil Mohan went 2-1 in doubles for Coronado.

Liberty 12, Durango 6 — At Liberty, Joshua Gordon and Tim Gordon went 3-0 in doubles to help the Patriots top the Trailblazers.

Arjay Angus was 3-0 in doubles for Durango.

Tech 14, Sierra Vista 4 — At Tech, the Roadrunners swept the singles sets and defeated the Mountain Lions.

Chris Custer, Chad Saltzman and Nathaniel Puentespina each went 3-0 in singles for Tech.

The doubles team of Rodrigue Arancibia and Andrew Luong also went 3-0 for the Roadrunners.

Centennial 13, Legacy 5 — At Centennial, Justin Madsen went 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs beat the Longhorns.

Adrian Jones II was 3-0 in singles for the Longhorns.

Virgin Valley 15, Adelson School 3 — At Adelson School, Ethan Leavitt was 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs defeated the Lions.

The doubles teams of Chad Abbott and Gage Hughes, and Spencer Cox and Isaac Iverson both finished 3-0 for Virgin Valley.

Boulder City 16, Valley 2 — At Boulder City, Connor Mikkelson was 2-0 in doubles play as the Eagles defeated the Vikings.

Boen Huxford and Preston Jorgensen went 2-0 in doubles, as did Karson Bailey and Ty Pendleton for Boulder City.

Green Valley 13, Basic 5 — At Green Valley, the Gators defeated the Wolves.

Moapa Valley 18, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Pirates blanked the Rattlers.

Chaparral 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Chaparral, the Cowboys beat the Miners by forfeit.

Eldorado 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Sundevils defeated the Desert Shields by forfeit.
