Roundup: Las Vegas cruises by Shadow Ridge

The doubles team of Ashton Barney and Nate Freimuth finished 3-0 to help Las Vegas High’s boys tennis team to a 14-4 home victory over Shadow Ridge on Friday afternoon.
Clay Iverson and Odwin Marquez each finished 2-1 in singles for the Wildcats.
Tyler Black also finished 2-1 in singles for the Mustangs.
Boulder City 16, Basic 2 — At Basic, Preston Jorgensen went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles past the Wolves.
The doubles teams of Kaeden Carver and Ethan Speaker, and Leaf Kaboli and Philipp Zengl each went 2-0 for Boulder City.
Bonanza 16, Eldorado 2 — At Bonanza, Levon Grigorian and Mark Thuet each finished 3-0 in singles as the Bengals defeated the Sundevils.
Marshall Nelson also finished 2-0 in singles for the Bengals.
In doubles, the teams of Stone Perry and Jonathan Lai, and Brandon McGuire and Andrew Oh each finished 3-0.
Centennial 17, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Scott Sylvester went 3-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs defeat the Spartans.
Adelson School 14, Valley 4 — At Valley, the Lions downed the Vikings.
Nicholas Jianu was 3-0 in singles for Valley.
Palo Verde 18, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Panthers swept the Pioneers.
Rancho 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Rams defeated the Desert Shields by forfeit.
Virgin Valley 12, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, the Bulldogs won by forfeit.
