ROUNDUP: Lee, Novak lead Centennial boys over Gorman

Lucas Lee and Max Novak each went 3-0 in singles Monday to help Centennial’s boys tennis team to a 13-5 win at Bishop Gorman.

Dallan Johnson and Dakota Trombley were 2-0 in doubles for the Bulldogs.

Andrew Crenwelge and Joe Connors went 2-1 in doubles for the Gaels.

Chaparral 10, Moapa Valley 9 — At Chaparral, Nick Hansen was 3-0 in singles, and Zack Harman and Brian Moya went 3-0 in doubles as the Cowboys nipped the Pirates in a tiebreaker.

The teams split the 18 regulation sets, but Chaparral took four of the six tiebreaker games to earn the win.

Kade Bryant, Skyler Hill and Kirby May each went 2-1 in singles for Moapa Valley. 

Silverado 16, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, Ferdinand Dagdagan went 3-0 in singles, and Swade Potter and Brett Willis each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks past the Pioneers.

The doubles teams of Siam Schleuning and Matt Sambol, Christian Rodriguez and Thomas Marty, and Larson Borla and Hanon Holland all went 2-0 for Silverado.

Western 11, Adelson School 6 — At Western, Ryan Garbowski was 3-0 in singles, and Braeden Smith and Steven Glad went 3-0 in doubles as the Warriors topped the Lions.

Valley 12, Rancho 6 — At Rancho, Michael Coppedge and Lorenzo Capannolo were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Vikings by the Rams.

David Delaney and Alex Gustilo each went 2-1 in singles for Valley.

Rohan Gupte was 3-0 in singles, and Bryan Sloan and Jacob Egan were 2-1 doubles for Rancho.

Green Valley 12, Las Vegas 6 — At Las Vegas, Parker Phelps went 2-1 in singles to lead the Gators over the Wildcats.

Zach Blanco was 3-0 in singles to lead Las Vegas. 

Coronado 17, Eldorado 1 — At Coronado, the doubles teams of Michael Boyd and Aaron Egbert, and Patrick Crockett and Troy Nguyen went 3-0 to lead the Cougars over the Sundevils.

Clark 12, Faith Lutheran 6 — At Darling Tennis Center, Joseph Maalouf, Deric Pang and Miko Pasimio each went 2-0 in singles as the Chargers downed the Crusaders.

The doubles teams of Chaitanya Ingle and Andrew Lim, Caleb Chen and Mark McCrary, and Walt Brena and Christian Ong all went 2-0 for Clark.

Liberty 11, Foothill 7 — At Foothill, Blayze O’Keefe went 3-0 in singles as the Patriots downed the Falcons.

Basic 11, Del Sol 7 — At Del Sol, Nick Wheatley and Alan Petty each went 1-0 in singles play to lead the Wolves over the Dragons.

Andrew Natale, Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker each went 2-1 in singles for Del Sol.

Tech 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Tech, Christian Valle went 3-0 in singles to lead the Roadrunners over the Jaguars.

Virgin Valley 10, Boulder City 9 — At Boulder City, the teams split their 18 regulation sets, but the Bulldogs outscored the Eagles, 34-25 in the six tiebreaker games to earn the win.

Cimarron-Memorial 15, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Brady Osborne was 3-0 in singles to help the Spartans top the Longhorns.

The doubles teams of Taylor Larsen and nate Starlin, and James Salls and Royce Hightower each went 3-0 for Cimarron.

Sam Moody was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.

Desert Oasis 12, Bonanza 0 — At Desert Oasis, the Diamondbacks won by forfeit.

The Meadows 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, the Mustangs won by forfeit.

Desert Pines 10, Tech 9 — At Tech, Mekham Singkhamta and Ashley Palacios went 3-0 in doubles, and the Jaguars won five of the six tiebreaker games to edge the Roadrunners.

Katrina Sta Cruz was 3-0 in singles for Tech.

Foothill 11, Liberty 7 — At Foothill, Lauren Penksa and Vanessa Perrales went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Falcons by the Patriots.

Sina Gebrai was 3-0 in singles for Liberty.

Rancho 11, Valley 7 — At Rancho, Alurea Stevens and Emily Tran each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Rams over the Vikings.

Jennifer Deng and Charmaine Andres went 3-0 in doubles for Rancho.

Valley’s Brooke Harding went 3-0 in singles.

Bishop Gorman 16, Centennial 2 — At Gorman, Addie Gardner and Amber Del Rosario went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels to an easy victory over the Bulldogs.

Lauren Willmore was 2-0 in singles for Gorman.

Danielle Gordon and McKay Novak went 2-1 in doubles for Centennial.
