ROUNDUP: Moapa Valley boys nip Valley in tiebreaker

Ryan Bessey and Camden Stratton each went 2-1 in singles on Thursday, and Moapa Valley’s boys tennis team won a tiebreaker to nip host Valley, 10-9.
Both teams split tiebreakers after the match was tied at 9-9, but the Pirates earned more points in the tiebreaker to pick up the win.

Eldorado 10, Las Vegas 9 — At Las Vegas, T.J. Swain went 3-0 in singles, and Eldorado edged Las Vegas in a tiebreaker.
Juan Garcia went 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas.
Rancho 12, Canyon Springs 6 — At Rancho, Kwabena Boateng and Kevin Aliado went 3-0 in doubles to lead Rancho over Canyon Springs.
Daniel Johnson and Kamran Baig also went 3-0 in doubles for the Rams.
Josh Jones finished 3-0 in singles for the Pioneers.
Centennial 14, Legacy 4 — At Centennial, J.C. Pauli and Travis Beck each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs to a win over the Longhorns.
Legacy’s Keith Noorda and Kevin Noorda went 2-1 in doubles.
Faith Lutheran 14, Cheyenne 4 — At Cheyenne, Jake Benowitz and Tom Trowbridge each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Crusaders over the Desert Shields.
The doubles team of Andrew Graham and Morgan Sandberg finished 3-0 for Cheyenne.
Palo Verde 17, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Cimarron, Ozzie Abraham went 2-0 in singles, and Zach Bellon and Christian Clark went 2-0 in doubles as Palo Verde routed the Spartans.
Arbor View 16, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Arbor View, Tyler Reese went 3-0 in singles to help the Aggies rout the Mustangs.
Shane McMahon and Justin Bolter went 3-0 in doubles, and Manuel Portillo was 2-0 in singles for Arbor View.
Silverado 14, Del Sol 4 — At Del Sol, Sean Guritz went 3-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks over the Dragons.
Devon Morrisey went 2-0 in singles for Silverado.
Tommy Gugino and Anthony Gugino went 2-1 in doubles for Del Sol.
Liberty 10, Green Valley 8 — At Green Valley, Gil Lim and Chrys Castro each went 3-0 in singles to help Liberty stun the Gators.
Alex Zbidgen and Trevor Bukovi were 3-0 in doubles for the Gators.
