ROUNDUP: Newell, Okano lead Palo Verde girls to big win over Mustangs

Nikki Newell and Tia Okano each went 2-0 in singles Tuesday to lead Palo Verde’s girls tennis team to a 15-3 home win over The Meadows.

Britney Khuu and Abby Till went 2-0 in doubles for the Panthers.

Eldorado 11, Durango 7 — At Durango, Yoli Carillo and Dora Carillo went 3-0 in doubles to help the Sundevils top the Trailblazers.

Sabrina Foreman was 2-1 in singles for Durango.

Rancho 10, Desert Pines 8 — At Desert Pines, Emily Tran went 3-0 in singles to help the Rams edge the Jaguars.

Mekham Singkhamta and Ashley Palacios went 3-0 in doubles to lead Desert Pines.

Valley 17, Chaparral 1 — At Valley, Jolie Catz was3-0 in singles to help the Vikings roll past the Cowboys.

Brooke Harding and Alex Miteva each went 2-0 in singles for Valley, and the doubles teams of Stephanie Taing and Olivia Jensen, and Soraya Peron and Diondra Dilworth each went 3-0.

Bonanza 15, Clark 3 — At Clark, Adrienne Millow, Emma Nelson and Lauren Smith all went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bengals to a win over the Chargers.

Faith Lutheran 18, Arbor View 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kathleen Wright was 2-0 in singles, and Rachel Taber and Chandler Young went 2-0 in doubles as the Crusaders blanked the Aggies.

Cimarron-Memorial 12, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Spartans won by forfeit.

Faith Lutheran 10, Arbor View 8 — At Faith Lutheran, Mitch Taylor and Marc Beccue went 2-1 in doubles to help the Crusaders edge the Aggies.

Donavan Tracy was 3-0 in singles for Arbor View.

Valley 16, Chaparral 2 — At Valley, David Delaney, Alex Gustio, and Brandon Rinker, each finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Vikings by the Cowboys.

Samson Haile and Colton Myhre were 3-0 in doubles for Valley.

Cimarron-Memorial 15, Del Sol 3 — At Del Sol, Taylor Larsen, James Salls and Brady Osbourne each went 3-0 in singles to help the Spartans defeat the Dragons.

Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker went 2-1 in doubles for Del Sol.

Trevor Johnson and Rhett Bossung each went 2-0 in singles, and the team of Bruno Sunago and Jordan Baduria was 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Clark 13, Bonanza 5 — At Clark, Joseph Maalouf, Chaitanya Ingle and Deric Pang all went 2-0 in singles as the Chargers topped the Bengals.

Andrew Malek was 2-1 in singles, and Jacob Mabey and Brian Clow went 2-1 in doubles for Bonanza.
