Roundup: Sierra Vista nips Durango

Noah Scott and Harrison Stanley finished 3-0 in doubles Friday to lead Sierra Vista’s boys tennis team to a 10-8 road win over Durango.

Aleksandar Bolta went 2-1 in singles for the Mountain Lions.

Durango’s Arjay Angus was 3-0 in singles, and Ben and Luke Shumway finished 2-1 in doubles for the Trailblazers.

Boulder City 14, Silverado 4 — At Boulder City, Boen Huxford and Preston Jorgensen went 3-0 in doubles to lead the the Eagles over the Skyhawks.

Ty Pendleton and Karson Bailey went 2-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Braden Soileau went 3-0 in singles, and Breton Erlanger was 2-0 in singles for the Eagles.

Rancho 11, Eldorado 7 — Tanner Albright, William Ballin and Joshua McElroy each went 3-0 in singles to help the Rams defeat the Sundevils.

Miguel Rodriguez and Jacob Harper went 3-0 in doubles for Rancho.

Green Valley 13, Tech 5 — At Tech, Andre Millett won his three singles sets 6-0 to help the Gators defeat the Roadrunners.

Pierce Larkin also went 3-0 in singles for the Gators.

Scott Gruber and Gavin Malcolm were 3-0 in doubles for Green Valley.

Centennial 13, Shadow Ridge 5 — At Shadow Ridge, Justin Madsen, Scott Sylvester, and Tim Tuong each finished 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs defeated the Mustangs.

The teams of Miles Brown and Keaton Edwards, and Francisco Ibarra and Porter McMillin, each went 2-0 in doubles for Centennial.

Arbor View 15, Legacy 3 — At Arbor View, Chad Decker and Kimoto Kru went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Aggies over victory over the Longhorns.

The Aggies swept the nine doubles sets.

Adrian Jones II was 3-0 in singles for Legacy.

Palo Verde 15, Las Vegas 3 — At Palo Verde, Denim Richardson went undefeated in doubles’ with three different partners as the Panthers defeated the Wildcats.

Richardson teamed up with Madhav Vaihylingam, Nick Abdo, and Tyler Juhasz.

Ryan Jensen and Jack Kostrinsky each finished 2-0 in singles for the Panthers.

Faith Lutheran 15, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Darling Tennis Center, Kenneth Dobrev was 3-0 in singles to help the Crusaders beat the Spartans.

Juno Suwanduan was 2-0 in singles, and the team of Colin Gardner and Carson Holmen went 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Bonanza 17, Desert Pines 1 — At Bonanza, Mark Thuet and Marshall Nelson each went 3-0 in singles as the Bengals rolled past the Jaguars.

Mojave 12, Pahurmp Valley 0 — At Mojave, the Rattlers beat the Trojans by forfeit.

Cheyenne vs. Canyon Springs — At Canyon Springs, the match between the Desert Shields and Pioneers was a double forfeit.
