ROUNDUP: Sunago, Palo Verde boys topple Gorman
Fernando Sunago went 3-0 in singles Friday to help Palo Verde’s boys tennis team pull out an 11-7 win at Bishop Gorman.
The Panthers’ doubles teams of Dylan Casey and Zach Bellon, and Pascal Nilsson and Tanner Berkabile each went 3-0.
Kyle Del Rosario and Cody Miller each went 2-1 in singles for the Gaels.
Eldorado 12, Cheyenne 6 — At Cheyenne, the Sundevils topped the Desert Shields.
Andrew Graham and Morgan Sandberg were 3-0 in doubles for Cheyenne.
GIRLS
Bishop Gorman 15, Palo Verde 3 — At Gorman, Caroline Engs and Taylor Larreau were 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels routed the Panthers.
Anita Lee and Polly Kulla each went 2-0 in singles for Gorman.
Eldorado 13, Cheyenne 5 — At Cheyenne, Suesun Saprabit went 2-0 in singles to help the Sundevils down the Desert Shields.
