TENNIS: Chaparral boys edge Eagles

Brandon Scott was 3-0 in singles, and Seanquoine Walker and Connor Jarvis were 3-0 in doubles on Wednesday to help Chaparral's boys tennis team to a 10-8 win at Boulder City.

Daniel Rodriguez and Isaac Terry went 2-1 in doubles for the Cowboys.

Adam Clary and Leaf Kaboli went 2-0 in doubles, and Sam O'Berto and Andre Pappas each went 2-1 in singles for the Eagles.

Centennial 10, Arbor View 8 — At Arbor View, Raul Saucedo went 3-0 in singles, and teammate Justin Madsen was 2-0 in singles as the Bulldogs held off the Aggies.

Michael Spencer and Lucas Cordova went 3-0 in doubles for Arbor View, and teammate Tyler Branton was 2-0 in singles.

Silverado 11, Las Vegas 7 — At Silverado, Ryan Pappas was 3-0 in singles to help the Skyhawks fend off the Wildcats.

Kyle Monton and Trey Chauncey went 3-0 in doubles, and Ben Bowen was 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas.

Foothill 10, Valley 8 — At Foothill, the Falcons edged the Vikings.

Alex Gustilo and Jose Negrete were 3-0 in doubles for Valley.

Desert Oasis 16, Bonanza 2 — At Desert Oasis, the doubles team of Kristian Godfrey and Syouta Wakisaka went 3-0 to help the Diamondbacks beat the Bengals.

Caiden Jacob was 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Virgin Valley 15, Tech 3 — At Tech, the Bulldogs defeated the Roadrunners.

Liberty 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Patriots won by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Overton, the Pirates won by forfeit.

GIRLS

Valley 10, Foothill 8 — At Foothill, Alexandra Jianu went 3-0 in singles to help the Vikings get past the Falcons.

Claire Angel and Annelisa Laizure went 2-1 in doubles for Valley.

Centennial 13, Arbor View 5 — At Arbor View, Lovely Warner-McRoy was 3-0 in singles as the Bulldogs beat the Aggies.

Giselle Leyva and Cassandra Haskin went 3-0 in doubles for Centennial.

Catherine Arizmendez was 2-1 in singles for Arbor View.

Moapa Valley 14, Sunrise Mountain 4 — At Overton, Morgan Aikele and Devony Cooper went 2-0 in doubles to help the Pirates down the Miners.

Tech 12, Virgin Valley 6 — At Tech, Avery Rayos went 3-0 in singles to help the Roadrunners defeat the Bulldogs.

Boulder City 13, Chaparral 5 — At Boulder City, Kira Yamamoto and McKenna Frazier each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles by the Cowboys.

The doubles teams of Olivia Goodfellow and Natalie Bowman, and Harley Fullmer and Natalia Fullmer were 3-0 for Boulder City.

Silverado 15, Las Vegas 3 — At Silverado, Megan Lopez, Tiffany Theophil and Criszelle Castro each went 3-0 in singles as the Skyhawks beat the Wildcats.

Bonanza 15, Desert Oasis 3 — At Desert Oasis, Maris Nelson was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Abby Lords and Caroline Thuet went 3-0 as the Bengals downed the Diamondbacks.

Kirsten Mauban and Jolene Stewart went 2-1 in doubles for Desert Oasis.

Liberty 16, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, the Patriots swept the nine doubles sets and rolled by the Pioneers.

The doubles teams of Payton Burk and Katherine Feeney, Parker Burk and Jada Whited, and Megan Quandt and Karee Taylor each went 3-0 for Liberty.

Marisa Olmos was 3-0 in singles, and Katerina Singh and Breanna Alvarez each went 2-1 in singles for the Patriots.

Abigail Emperado was 2-1 in singles for Canyon Springs.
