TENNIS: Lacala, Del Sol boys edge Virgin Valley

Giovanni Lacala was 3-0 in singles Thursday, and Del Sol's boys tennis team won four of the six tiebreaker games to pull out a 10-9 victory over Virgin Valley in Mesquite.
Chris Cannon was 2-0 in singles for the Bulldogs.
Centennial 12, Desert Oasis 6 — At Centennial, Justin Madsen was 3-0 in singles to guide the Bulldogs over the Diamondbacks.
Valley 10, Silverado 8 — At Valley, Alex Gustilo and Jeremiah Williams went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Vikings past the Skyhawks.
Ryan Pappas went 3-0 in singles for Silverado.
Arbor View 15, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Cimarron, Jesse Vogel and Tyler Branton each went 3-0 in singles as the Aggies downed the Spartans.
Lucas Cordova and Michael Spencer went 3-0 in doubles for Arbor View.
Boulder City 16, Tech 2 — At Boulder City, Sam O'Berto and Andre Pappas each went 3-0 in singles, and Garrett Leavitt and Chandler Larson were 3-0 in doubles as the Eagles routed the Roadrunners.
Clayton Pendleton and Karson Bailey were 2-0 in doubles, and Pedro Velarde was 2-1 in singles for Boulder City.
Desert Pines 13, Chaparral 5 — At Chaparral, the Jaguars topped the Cowboys.

The doubles teams of Jasmine Munoz and Malena DiMaggio, and Cheryl Condon and Janet Ruiz each went 2-1 for Tech.
McKenna Frazier and Kyra Yamamoto went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City, and teammates Harley Fullmer and Natalia Fullmer each went 2-1 in singles.
Silverado 11, Valley 7 — At Valley, Megan Lopez and Criszelle Castro each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks past the Vikings.
Lyric Ciarlo was 2-1 in singles, and Dani Angelo and Paige Lee were 2-1 in doubles for Silverado.
Claire Angel and Annelisa Laizure went 3-0 in doubles, and Katie Streit and Danielle Bradley were 2-1 in doubles for Valley.
